Yes absolutely call the Clark and find out. Usually it takes around 30 days. However, it depends where are you and how busy your judge is. Go ahead and call the Clark. Politely ask him/her you called to find out status of your motions.
Mubarak ho bhai saab! I am happy for you!
Congratulations!
Please if you do not mind can you tell people know why they denied your VAWA? It is for those who are struggling right now. It would help them and give them hope.
wow. you should have travelled. AP is free anyways if you have paid for i-485. In addition to that you did not have to travel back to your country. You could have traveled to others countries like Canada or Europe.
I can feel that. Just hang in there. I know it is tough. I am glad they are reopening your case. I do not know if you can travel with AP. If you can then i think you should.
you might not receive any notice for this. You would probably get another update saying "we have reopened your case". The latter that you would receive would be about we are considering our earlier decision. It is basically about reopening of your file.
Have you received the receipt notices yet? If not i would say reach out to your senator and congress again. My congress person helped me to get the receipt notices from the USCIS. or other option is you can do FOIA request.
I would say do not send another application just yet.
Did you give any explanation why they returned your EAD application? You said you did get the receipt for your AP?
Did you send the payment for AP? Did you include the copy of your form i-485 with your EAD application?
As of right now EAD c09 is free. Just make sure your did not type c31 of your EAD application.
I am not sure in which state you are. In NY it is taking almost a month for a judge to dismiss. I would say reach out to them by Dec 15. you should hear anything by then.
Why don't you reach out to your judge's clerk to find out from him/her if they have received the motion from your attorney? If they did receive then how long it would take take for judge to dismiss.
Once you go to your filed office they will be able to tell you where is your file. I think your file is at your filed office. That's my guess.
Yes they should be able to give you an appointment. I made 3 appointments for my i-485 when it was pending.
