  1. Sorry to hear that. Contact your congress person again and ask them if they can get you the receipt notices from USCIS. I was able to get a copy of RFE trough congress person for friend of mine.
  2. you can send renewal package six months before the expiration. So by end of April or beginning of May i would send.
  3. Congratulations. Why they denied your form i-360 earlier and what was the RFE about?
  4. Yes give your employer letter to your congress person. They will let USCIS know. I have done that in the past and i was able to get my EAD quickly.
  5. Good thing you reached out to your congress person. To make your case stronger get a letter from your employer. This will help you get the expedite faster.
  6. there is no time period. As long as you suffered abuse you can file VAWA. It does not matter when you arrived to USA.
  7. I do not think they will get mad at you. It is well over 3 months time frame. I was calling my congress person every 2 weeks to get the update. They never get mad at me lol. Also try to call USCIS and make an appointment with them.
  8. no really. I think medical is valid for 2 years now. second make the appointment to your field office to find out the status of your i-485.
  9. Mostly it would be yes/no questions. They are not suppose to ask anything about the abuse. if they do you have all the right to ask for a supervisor.
  10. You need to send it to Vermont. I would say make the info pass appointment to go to your field office to inquire about your i-485.
  11. keep us posted the outcome of this process. Good luck.
  12. There is one thing you can do is you can have your background check through third party and send the result to USCIS. I am not sure how much that would cost you. I remember someone posting in one of the VAWA thread that he/she done that. Think about it to see if you wanna do that. If i were you i would take that chance.
  13. welcome back. Glad you had a good experience. I also enjoyed my trips. I travelled almost 7 times.
  14. You will. Just stay strong you almost there. Best of luck!
  15. yes you are. You are into 38 months now. Go ahead and contact with your representative.
  16. If i were you i would ask my congress/senator to inquire on behalf of me.
  17. Did you have insurance together? Did you have anything together like gym membership, 401k? even any unsolicited mail would help. Send all the mails that has same address. In addition to that write everything in detail and send it to USCIS.
  18. Yes that is correct. That's the right address to send those forms.
  19. You can include i-94 if you have new one. I never really included in my package and i never included ID as well. If you wanna include you can it's not really gonna hurt.
  20. Signed form i-765, two passport size pictures, copy of current ead, and a receipt of i-485.
  21. ah so basically she sent only to re calendar. I am not sure how long re calendar gonna take. Usually motion to re calendar and motion to dismiss are very fast. Let's see if Judge re calendrer your case god knows what date you will get. I would say call the clerk and first find out the status of your motion and then i would say let him/her know what's your intention is for instance you would like to dismiss because you have X case approved. Also ask your attorney why she did not send motion to dismiss? What is the reason behind it? Probably she would have better explanation.
  22. How many motions did your attorney send to court? I am not sure why your attorney wants to go to judge. She should have submitted two motions together. I know someone whos asylum was admin closed. His attorney sent two motions to his judge, One to reclander the case and one to terminate. After a month Judge just terminated the asylum case.
  23. You can ask your congress/senator also ask your attorney to write to USCIS if you have one.
