  1. yes USCIS will send you a RFE for medical. Best of luck!
  2. Next you either expect an interview which is very rare lately or if you send all the required documents specially up to date medical then USCIS will approve your green card. You might either get an RFE when USCIS will review your form and if they think you are missing any documents.
  3. Did you response to your RFE? That is the important thing. Prima Facia is really does not matter if you never took advantage of it. Most of us on this forum never really used Prima Facia.
  4. yes those are two different things. With the Prima Facia you can get some public benefits. On the other hand RFE is something that USCIS request from you, like additional evidence. As per your original post USCIS sent you 4 Prima Facia not the RFE.
  5. Usually i do not trust these attorneys. You can ask your congress person to get it for you from USCIS. However, are you planning to use prima facia? If not then you really do not need to do anything. However, you need to confirm which address uscis is using.
  6. What address do they have in file? Have you checked with your attorney if he/she received your prima facia? If you and your attorney never received any letter from USCIS. Then you can ask your congress person to reach out to USCIS on your behalf and resend.
  7. Well deserved. She is phenomenal. She has helped me through out the process. I have learned alot from her! Thank you @Sandra G.
  8. If i were you i would ask senator to confirm with USCIS what address do they have in file. I would also reach out to former lawyer just to confirm if he/she received any of my letters.
  9. Chat with EMMA and tell them you want to make an appointment to inquire about status of your i-485. Then they will call you within a week to schedule an appointment.
  10. Yes it is normal case is not updated. Your interview should be straight forward yes/no question. However, you can never predict with USCIS. It is all up to you how comfortable you are without a lawyer.
  11. I was in a same situation as you are. I made the infopass appointment to get the update and from there process was fast. I would say make the info pass to get the update.
  12. I am not really sure when exactly they transfer my i-485. I never got any notification neither i inquire about it.
  13. yes that's correct. After i got my EAD USCIS took almost 2 months to approve my VAWA.
  14. hopefully they will approve your case now. I received 4th Prima Facia after my vawa EAD before approval. Good luck to you.
  15. if this notification related to your i-360 then yes your i-360 is approved. They will send you EAD card.
  16. It is over 60 days now. i would day reach out to your congress person. Explain your situation with the receipt confirmation that USCIS received your medical.
  17. When was your interview completed? What did they ask you?
  18. you need to write to vermont. Just let them know your attorney is not representing you anymore. I would say involve your congress person.
  19. I don't think airlines will let anyone board without US visa. He/she needs to have visa/ some sort of travel documents for airlines to enter.
  20. What if you let credit card company know not to process this transaction and send new file with check or money order?
  21. exactly. You travel documents will expire at the same time as your EAD since it is combo card. You can even look at your approval notice when it will expire. Sorry to hear that. How did you pay them? check or credit card?
  22. Yes you can travel. It is valid to travel. no need to worry about anything. You can travel with it until it expires.
  23. I have seen people sending EAD renewal more than 180 days before it expiration date for other categories. I have not seen anyone with C09. Basically what i meant for her that she could send her application end of September and by the time USCIS get it, it would be pass Nov 2nd.
  24. oh so technically you can send your C09 renewal by the end of September. You should be fine. I know USCIS website show that processing time taking 14 months. However, on average people are getting approved between 6 to 8 months.
  25. When you your combo card (c09) expiring?
