  1. just got my 10 year card in Hand today. Approval was last week. Approval notice came monday and Card arrived today. Happy July 4th to all !🎆
  2. i think its silly that they are approving military spouses like as if US is at war. There is no reason that military spouses get this priority. its not like they are fighting for the country. pretty ridiculous though
  3. USCIS esimated time is as good as asking 100 people what second the sun sets today ? you will get 100 different answers
  4. First 1) you make the decision to move to US. 2) Until Step is underway .. just live life in Amsterdam 3) Once step 1 is underway get married in netherlands. you can file for CR1 spouse visa which take about 2-3 years if you start today. No there is no permit /visa that allows for spouses to stay for that long. he can apply for H1b visa ( you need to know the process) which allows him to stay in US for 3-6 years as himself . this means he needs to work for that employer during that period in US with in/out privileges. Also netherlands does not allow dual citizenship fyi
  5. you cannot expedite naturalization first and even for trivial reasons like children's summer time. you have to use your green card and current citizenship passport to travel
  6. you would need to i-485 again . it also means your i-864 has been filed incorrectly( you must have used a older version of the form)
  7. Thank you Lynette for the kind words. Iam here to help those that have this frustrating experience. Feel free to reach out to me should you need any assistance
  8. what matters is the country you are born in . citizenship is irrelevant. in this case.. you are in india/china queue
  9. Yes birth country is all that matters unless you marry a US citizen where country quota per year has no limits
  10. what country were you born ? its not the citizen but the birth country that matters
  11. interesting. off all the things . they are spending resources to send codes 😁😁
  12. As long as port of entry she tells the officer that she intents to adjust status in USA on entry . Not a problem . If the officer decides she can enter then no issues .
  13. You nailed it . I don’t think they will even bother defending it. They will email NVc to schedule appointment and embassy to make a decision asap with a deadline
  14. All of this irrelevant for OP . If PD is current he should be getting an appointment . We all know Uscis has no process or order . They process randomly cause there is no one to question them . The only solution for OP to take infront of judge And i can guaranteee they will setup an emergency appointment to give the visa unfortunately this is what it has come down to. Play the game or get screwed with lengthy delays
  15. this case is hearbreaking they are doing donkey kong of he said she said scenario. 100% the case qualifies for mandamus against NVC and the embassy.
  16. something tells me they are going to move i-751 to be filed online soon. we shall see.
  17. Yet again I think the only way you can deal with is to fight in court with mandamus. Until than people are not going to get results
  18. Wow 2+ years is a long time. Have you not filed naturalization . Usually for most folks that kicks the 751 decision . I would consider a mandamus considering 2+ years is a long time without a decision
