There is absolutely no way to tell how much time an individual case can take. all every one is providing is an estimate . What USCIS provides is an estimate of time for 80% of cases. Do you know your case in that 80% is like asking what number will hit the lottery

    if you get into trouble with border patrol or did something trouble and at port of entry they can revoke the visa free status and they can force you get b visa

    First step dont do this. A very very bad idea if things turn ugly US citizens are required to use US passport to enter/exit US soil. ICE detention is no fun. rebooking tickets is not the end of world

    that is why i said residency matters. if he is a resident of australia than the consulate in australia will process. if he is resident of spain and can prove it than he can file in spain.
