  1. You’re not going to get an indication from USCIS. Up to you to know when to do it. You’re just waiting.
  2. As others have stated, your timeline in the first post is not clear, so probably the officer is also confused (but alas! even if they are not confused, tier 1 officers do not know much about your case). Your last update was the biometrics.. in 2021. People have been waiting longer than that. Have you filed for N400? If the extension letter expires, you can get an I-551 appointment. About 30 days prior to expiration, call and say "info pass". If you want to know what's the hold up, request a tier 2 officer.
  3. This is well outside of immigration. I know it is, but you’re not “disposable” or something he can come back to if/whenever he wants to. You’re 21. Plenty of fish in the sea. Divorce now, heal, move on
  4. Not necessary. Totally irrelevant. Not needed and can lead to confusion as to why you’re including that in this step of the process. Irrelevant. Not needed
  5. Passport and SS cards are not needed. You don’t need to verify your identity. You’re past that stage
  6. Yes. But what I would do (since joint taxes is good evidence) is to write a very simple note on the cover letter explaining why you haven't filed joint taxes yet. Also congrats on your pregnancy and yes, definitely add proof of that.
  7. Never send an original!!! Those letters they sent are generic so it seems like they just click a couple boxes and end up asking for documents you’ve already sent. Send them again. They don’t require you to submit these; it’s just a suggestion among other evidence and yes, plenty of people send them. They’re considered secondary evidence tho. Of course! joint taxes?
  8. Ok I see what you’re saying. If she entered without inspection then yes, consular processing with a waiver, which apparently attorney did not prepare. So still, ditch that attorney. but if she flew, then she’s not EWI, so she shouldn’t have left… and again , ditch the attorney if that was the advice Read the article. She remembers having been flown with white people
  9. This is sad, but let it be a learning experience for the rest. If you’re in this situation DONT LEAVE THE STATES. And if your attorney is telling you to do consular processing, Ditch that attorney and , if you can, report him to the AILA for being an incompetent
  10. No. You don’t need a sponsor now. That was just for the AOS. I’ll suggest that you read the guidelines at VJ Since GC approval No, just do 10 pics that they don’t have
  11. Any red flags in your case? Previous marriages? Criminal records? Age difference? Previous visa applications
  12. It’s In my signature I think, but roughly ten days for the SMS and about 2 weeks for the check to be cashed
  13. You can involve your Congressman. And again, after some months without decision you can always sue them with a Writ of Mandamus. That will force them to make a decision. But you'll need an attorney for that.
  14. Provided that your case is straightforward, you can sue them after a couple of months with no decision.
  15. Indeed. I honestly fail to understand why people focus so much on N400 if they need to file for ROC first. It's like being worried about changing the oil when you don't even have a car yet.
  16. Yeah… screw I-129fs and 751s I guess…
  17. I think OP is saying he’s got a gc, but that doesn’t really help much if it’s his girlfriend and she’s planning on overstaying… so not sure why the gc is relevant here
  18. Your post is super confusing. who has a green card? who has an ESTA?
