  1. Awww thanks! You write so well, I’m a teacher, would you want to write my report cards for my students? Hahaha Contrary to my 751, I wouldn’t want to overload my submission and have it delayed. So I just don’t want to be that student that gives the teacher extra work!
  2. Hi everyone! It’s hard to believe that my window to file for N400 is opening soon! I’m looking for feedback on my application. Based on three year rule. Form N400 Hubbys BC 2021, 2020 and 2019 IRS tax returns bank statements from 751 submission til now ( a year). 4 bank statements. Joint health insurance (both through my employer and his employer) Joint vehicle insurance for both vehicles. Joint house deed . I was thinking of taking pictures, flight reservations, etc etc for the interview (most likely it will be a combo since my 751 is pending). Any feedback is highly appreciated
  3. Read the instructions. Page 9 says that the applicant has to list all children, whether they are alive or deceased, minors or over 18 years of age, adopted and stepchildren. Then on page 12 it says that for the interview you’d need to bring the BC of kids listed. So yes, you’ll have to get those BCs…. Why was citizenship denied?
  4. We can’t help you with a lie. First off, you don’t have an emergency. Second, if you did have an emergency, the US is super expensive. Third, you’re not a USC or a PR They don’t care about your health.
  5. On a Facebook group I saw an approval from May 2021. And here I saw an approval for July 2021, so it seems that they’re working towards the end of fall into 2021 summer. However, that information alone is not really useful unless we know if they applied for N400 or not
  6. Did you file for ROC? And tax returns are not mandatory for applying, so you can just go ahead and apply with the taxes you have and then take 2022 to the interview
  7. What’s the basis of your green card? What date did you get your green card?
  8. The deadline to file taxes is April 15th every year. So if you file before April 15th technically 2022 are not mandatory, and the last three years of your tax returns would be 2021, 2020, 2019. Im planning to submit in early February and probably won’t have my 2022 tax return, but I’ll bring them to the interview.
  9. No, you do not need your previous leases or W2 tax forms. Use the VJ guideline to guide you.
  10. You can try and come back on an expired green card and see if they’ll let you in. My understanding is that if they do, you’ll get a court date.
  11. I do not think you have too many options other than just see if they’ll let you in on your expired green card. If so, you might be given a court date where you can defend your case. However, we need more details. Where are you from? male or female? how long were you married? when did you divorce? what visa were you on when you first came to the US?
  12. Awesome! Do you know if you can actually start to fill it out prior to your window opening?
  13. Ooooh ok that’s good to know! I have not tried to file yet so I just go by what people say in here. Do you know if you can save the application and finish it later? Because I might try to file online but if I get stuck I can just continue by mail?
  14. Thank you so much for the tip!! Yes I have already been uploading some documents to my Drive, such as IRS tax returns. My window opens on January 29th. However I’m thinking of waiting to submit to have our 2022 taxes, although not mandatory. So far we have: joint deed joint taxes Joint health insurance x2 joint car insurance x2 joint utility bills joint bank statements Letter requesting combo interview We will file by mail. I have a stepson (he’s a USC) and my understanding is that the online system doesn’t distinguish between step and bio kids and I’d have to upload his BC. I don’t want to do that.
  15. Ooooh that will be me in a month! What evidence did you submit with the N400?
  16. Let it be a lesson for everyone else. Yes, move your car to safety, but never, EVER leave the scene. And engage in minimal conversation with the other driver. You need a criminal lawyer, and an immigration lawyer.
  17. Are you saying that a 25 year old man that got a fraudulent B1/B2 visa saying he was married when he was not can’t come to the US for tourism and fell in love with a 70 year old woman in a week?! C’me on, sometimes loves hits you like ⚡️
