I can always turn my Karen mode on and demand to be called first. Not sure how that will work though.😂😂😂😂 -

I’m just giving myself some time off. You know how sometimes celebrities disappear for a while to gather interest? -
N400 interview scheduled!
Rocio0010 replied to Rocio0010's topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
Good morning everyone!!! I hope everyone is doing just fine. I have not been in VJ a lot these days because a) we added a new puppy to the pack, which means we have three dogs under 2. Crazy!!! B) I’m a teacher about to start the new school year. To say that things have been crazy is an understatement! Anyhow, I need to let my principal that I will be late to work on the morning of the 30th. I guess my interview is the first one in the morning, since it is at 8:00. Considering my ROC has been approved, how long do you think my N400 interview will be? I just don’t want to take the day off for no reason. And no, Columbus doesn’t do same day oath. -
N-400 Interview cancelled

Why would you want to attend an interview for a case which you’ve withdrawn? -
How to fill out all these USCIS Forms?
Rocio0010 replied to TWISTIE's topic in General Immigration-Related Discussion
Old school: print and fill in pen. -
Been there, done that. It gets better though. The next stage is acceptance, in which you literally stop checking your status every day. I swear my 751 got approved on a day I wasn’t even thinking about it.
-
You can’t be diligent when nothing has been asked from you to submit. They haven’t RFE’d you yet, or notified you of any missing documents. Being “diligent” in this case would mean you send them unsolicited stuff, which can cause issues. Also, you should fill out your timeline in order to get more accurate replies.

I can’t remember his name, but that was epic. Then there was another one who called because he had divorced with a pending 751, but failed to inform USCIS. He now wanted to petition for someone else, and there was no way Hacking could convince him that the case was turning into a train wreck.
-
Are you talking about the guy from India, who asked the same question over and over to the point of pissing him off? I believe Hacking asked him not to appear on the show again , and then this guy sent his friend to hold his place in Streamyard, then when Jim called him the “true” guy showed up and it all went south.
-
You missed the part where he even called DHS to try and expedite his case. He has also been at the USCIS field office several times. He’s going to piss them off.
-
I love most of Hacking’s shows and have even come up a few times to ask questions. I like to watch it to analyze some of the answers he gives, just to see if I was far off or not. If you see a caller named Shabahz, listen to him. He’s well known in the show!

We'll be traveling after filing I-751
Rocio0010 replied to goursh's topic in Working & Traveling During US Immigration
1. Pack your bags, make sure you lock the house. 2. If you have any pets, do take them with you at least within the States. None of the above. Just submit the application when the time comes, with the address in State 2. Send it with proof of delivery. Travel with your extension letter. Then, continue to live your life because you won’t -
Not necessarily. Link? We here can tell you whether those articles are credible or not. It’s weird that it’s not also a tradition for the baby dad to be around… especially with a young baby. Nope, it’s not so straightforward… you’ll have to do CRBA. Times posted by the government Can be inaccurate also in the sense that they’re actually taking way longer than what they say
-
No, that does not help. A K1 visa is a fiancé visa, so if you marry the visa will be void. Have you considered a spousal visa instead?

Hey there, I am sorry about your situation. If I read it correctly, you're the USC, and the waiver would be for your wife in Argentina. Did I get it right? As an Argentinian, I see your two reasons sort of contradict each other. You're suffering from financial hardship on the one hand, and asthma on the other hand. I am sure you know by now that healthcare in Argentina is much, much, much more affordable in Argentina than in the US. We do have a WhatsApp group for Argentinian filers. Send me a DM with your number, and I can add you.

Bring a Lawyer to N400 Interview: Yes or No?
Rocio0010 replied to *FishF00D*'s topic in US Citizenship General Discussion
That’s not true. We’ve seen tons of divorce waivers being approved here without an interview. Of course the attorney will tell you that; they want people to hire them for something easy. Regardless, good luck tomorrow. Do report back- 36 replies

None. After biometrics, your case will be under “actively being reviewed “. Could be days, weeks, months. Totally contingent upon your local field office. If it’s an emergency international trip, and you don’t have the interview date yet, you should buy refundable tickets. Or pay the penalty for changing them if they give you the interview date after you buy them. Your call.

Yeah but my case is kind of unique. Yes, I never had an interview for my AOS, because my local field office had closed due to COVID. However, they did mail me a letter from the local FO requesting for the evidence that I was going to submit in my interview. So maybe in their system I count as an interviewee for AOS. Who knows.
