  1. ^^^ This. Fill out here: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=476183
  2. You should really have started a new thread since this one is old. That said, if a SSN was requested on the DS-260, wait 10 business days to see if one arrives in the mail. If it does not, book an appointment at the local SSA office, take required documentation and attend the appointment. The SSA agent will be able to see if a number was issued. If it was not, they can input the system request to issue one.
  3. Our 3 greencards took over 170 days. I sent an inquiry after 90 days. Don't stress and sign up for USPS Informed Delivery so you can track it once you get notification it's been issued. You can check your MyUSCIS account to see the status of the card.
  4. Only provide what is asked for. Adding extra items can create confusion. Use the name on your identification. If you have reverted to your maiden name only and want it that way, then your passport must reflect that maiden name only. Hopefully the forms you've filled out reflect this as well.
  5. Timelines begin before DS-260 https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=485200
  6. Walmart'ed on Tuesday for very specific items - rare cacti that Costa Farms brought in. Had to go up to a Walmart I hate going to because the driving is beyond appallingly awful and the supposed upgrades for the main intersection off of the interstate there have begun, so it makes an already cluster eff of an intersection that much more pleasant. Anyway, got what I went in for and escaped relatively unharmed. Kid1 turned 18 yesterday. Not sure how that happened...18 years was a BLINK. It's weird because she hasn't yet graduated but all of her medical records and access to stuff that I normally owned has now pivoted to her. Completely mixed feelings about it all.
  7. Unfortunately, it appears so. It says in your paperwork: and: You need to get that I-290B filed immediately.
  8. So what is her plan, outside of an exchange, for him, regardless? What is her plan for a custodial decision maker, for accommodation, for health insurance, for extra curricular activities and associated fees, etc? Only some of those items are managed with an exchange, but not all. If all of those items are to be managed, a private school which includes lodging is more likely what she's looking for.
  9. After becoming documentarily qualified, Montreal is slow. Probably a letter in 4-5 months, interview in 5-6 months. Please fill out your timeline, @jantika
  10. @AJSin1 and @RRBM please fill out your timelines.
  11. Undocumented individuals have some constitutional protections, but are not entitled to all constitutional protections. Regardless, this person is not an undocumented individual. This individual has willfully misrepresented themselves and concealed material facts when procuring citizenship. This is 100% a violation of the INA as listed under the 14th amendment. This person has violated immigration law and by continuing to present themselves as a US citizen, could face criminal prosecution as well. As stated by the OP, this individual's children are not in the US and were not born in the US; therefore the children are not entitled to any US "rights" or benefits.
  12. The "land of the free" and the associated rights are for citizens, law abiding naturalized citizens and law abiding permanent residents. You were not born in the US and you have committed fraud, a completely criminal and highly punishable offense . The US owes you absolutely nothing. The US owes your children absolutely nothing. In this instance, "rights", like respect, are earned. You've done nothing to gain "rights" and respect. Just the opposite.
  13. If you're on FB, there's a group called Canadians Living in the US with an Exit Plan. Good info there.

Your information is best captured by filling out your timeline: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=474102 and then sharing here:
  15. Have you checked your MyUSCIS account to see if the card has been issued? You can send an inquiry if it's been more than 90 days. That said, ours took over 170.
  16. Correct. Covid vaccines are not required for AOS, but are for consular processing. https://www.uscis.gov/tools/designated-civil-surgeons/vaccination-requirements
  17. Governments share info. If it's not "technically" legal in the US, they send it to the UK, in the interest of national security and have the UK report back the findings. People who think they are sneaky just aren't. Someone, somewhere, is always watching. The OP needs to remember CBP are looking out for the best interest of the US to keep borders secure, facilitate trade and prevent terrorism. USCIS are ultimately responsible for applying immigration law. If CBP thinks your fiancé is questionable and a potential threat, as defined by policy, by overstay or potential illegal work, they will exercise their right to apply the policy. Again, the US owes nothing to your fiancé, just like her country owes you nothing and could threaten the same to you if you demonstrated the same pattern there.
  18. Congrats on finally getting the interview scheduled! If you search the forum, there are many reviews people have written regarding the Montreal Consulate. The biggest takeaway is you can't bring in phones, smart watches or tablets, so leave those in your hotel. You might be able to get a locker, but if you have somewhere safe, just leave them there. Also, no bags. Bring your paperwork in a folder or something (I used an accordion flexi-folder with a zip) but no bags. Bring a magazine or a book because you could be there for a while.
  19. Oooohhh...an edjumacated chica!
  20. Please fill out your timeline: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=485108
  21. I didn't include any bank statements because we don't share a bank account. I included a mortgage statement, house insurance statement, a vehicle purchase, vehicle insurance for all of our vehicles, statement of beneficiaries for life insurance, copies of our DL's showing we live at the same address and plane tickets from a trip that was recent. I suppose the other required items were there (marriage certificate, etc). No issues, no RFE's.
  22. Not unless you were given anything at your interview that you were instructed to provide to CBP. You should fill out your timeline: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=478261
