  1. Yeap going to give the papers to my accountant so he can file it this week so I will have proof of filing them. What baffled me is that the interview is like 12 days before the 3 year anniversary as a resident.
  2. Thank you, it caught me unprepared really since I still need to file my taxes for 2022 and the date of the interview is like 12 days before my 3 year anniversary. So I am hoping now they won't deny me due to that.
  3. Got an interview date for first week of March. What I notice though is that my I751 status hasn't changed and its like 22 days before the 3 years completion. Will that be a problem?
  4. I got the notice of action for both the filling and the biometrics about a week and a half after filing online. Apparently the notice of action functions and as an extension letter too.
  5. Filed online on Jan 14th. ROC still pending and my window to apply under the 3 year rule opened on Dec 22. They reused biometrics. For now uploaded gc, marriage certificate, wife's passport to show she is a US citizen, 2 years of irs transcripts (the third will be for 2022 when we file), final decree of divorce from her previous marriage and a ticket for when we had a trip last year. Basic stuff really since I will have to bring everything in the interview anyway.
  6. Not yet approved, I submitted it in December last year, when the window opened, and after the biometrics in January it has been stuck there. But yeah my thought was to get the process started because I have talked to coworkers of mine that recently got naturalization and it only took them a few months, so was hoping my case will actually get noticed. Though I am just being optimistic. USCIS had trouble verifying my status when they were background checking my wife during a job application of hers and wanted to see the actual letter they had sent alongside the application I had filled >.>
  7. Yeah in 2019 she filed as head of household while we were waiting for the i130 to be completed. I got lpr status in March and 2020. Nice hopefully they wont be as slow as they are with my i751!
  8. Hello there all! So my window for Naturalization opens Dec 22 and I am reading through the instructions the tax returns for the past 3 years based on being married with a US citizen. So far we have filed taxes for 2020 & 2021. Do you think I should wait first before applying to file the 3rd year also, or I can always apply and just wait for a RFE down the road?
  9. Yeah my window opens on 22 December though I need to research if I actually need 3 years worth of taxes since I only haven't filled yet for the current one (so I only have for 2020 & 2021)
