  1. Hello everyone I’m trying to be proactive and have all documents ready for an interview at the Casablanca consulate. copy of your NVC interview letter, passport, 2 2inch by 2inch photos, ds-260 confirmation sheet, birth certificate original and translated, police certificate original and translated, marriage certificate original and translated, i864 package and the tax transcripts and w2 submitted along with the pay stubs submitted to the nvc, proof of domicile for sponsor/peitioner. Pictures of the peitioner and beneficiary together and proof of relationship. Am I missing anything? And if the interview is before April 15th, I heard they don’t ask for a newer tax transcript, do you need to bring them a newer w2 and a month of newer/recent pay stubs? thank you
  2. hello everyone, i have a question regarding this process. My husband, the beneficiary, has a house in his name but does not live there. He lives with his parents. I was wondering do I need to mention the address of this house on the forms I'm filing for him? the address of this house is on his Moroccan ID and also will be on the police certificate. If I have to mention it, how would I do that if he doesn't reside there? it's very confusing 😅 thanks in advance
  3. How long does it take to get the i824 approved and sent?
  4. Hello everyone, Our i130 got approved but I have a question. This is what it says. Does it just mean it’s going to go to the nvc now? And why did they said it was retained? Anything I should be concerned about? “The above petition has been approved. However, you did not indicate on the petition whether the beneficiary intends to apply for an immigrant visa abroad at a U.S. Embassy or a U.S. Consulate or will apply for adjustment of status in the United States. Therefore, USCIS has retained the petition. If the beneficiary intends to apply for adjustment of status in the United States, they should submit a copy of this notice, along with a Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status. They can obtain Form I-485 from the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov, by contacting the USCIS National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at 1-800-375-5283, or by visiting the local USCIS field office. Filing address information can be found on the USCIS website at www.uscis.gov. If the beneficiary decides to apply for an immigrant visa outside the United States based on this petition, you should file Form I-824, Application for Action on an Approved Application or Petition, to request that we send the petition to the U.S. Department of State National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC processes all approved immigrant visa petitions that require consular action. The NVC also determines which consular post is the appropriate consulate to complete visa processing. It will then forward the approved petition to that consulate.” does this just mean that everything will go to the nvc now and whenever we are ready to apply for adjustment of status to send this notice in with it because they will have the file? Nothing to worry about?
