Jorge and I met while I was serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Peru. He is a nurse at the local health center where I was volunteering. We became close friends because of work but it quickly grew into something more. After dating for 3 years, Jorge asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes! I came back to the States shortly after our engagement to get a job and start working on the K-1 Visa.
