Yeah right, you would think getting the K1, getting married and sending them the AOS package would be good but it's not lol.

We still have 2 bills not in my name but I don't think it would be that big of an issue since we got married at the end of February. 

 

I had my fingerprints taken on 4th August and online it states  “your case is being actively reviewed”.  I don’t really care for the online tracker I’m just patiently waiting for my interview date ☺️🙃

Just checked my status online this morning and it had changed to fingerprint review completed!
Keeping my fingers crossed that the status will now change quickly to approved! 🤞🏿

My case status changed today. 

Kind note to all - just sit back and relax. Patience is the key. Everyone is on a different journey with very different tales. 

I myself find it better not to read constant threads / messages. You simply cannot compare your case to another persons. 
 
Wishing you all luck on this journey in this crazy world. We will get through this and look back and feel proud. 
 

Woah..... thanks for the info - it’s appreciated. I do not look / think about it in the depth of your examples you provided above. For me, I’m going with the flow. 

There is just way too much guessing & speculation on forums and it’s not healthy. 
 
I totally understand everyone’s personal circumstance is different but this is out of our control re USCIS and the process. Have to take it a day at a time. 
 
I came on a K1 visa got married and applied for AOS. This will be my 1st biometrics. 

I have a friend who did AOS and was approved on June 18.  That debunks that April theory. 
 
 

I would renew the passport now while you aren’t going to be using it. However the passport office says—-
It is taking longer than usual to process applications because of coronavirus (COVID-19). Do not apply unless you’re travelling before September 2020 or you need a passport urgently for compassionate reasons.

The rest of your questions are just too much overthinking, mate. Let things roll because it is all uncertain now. Solve those problems if and when they actually become a reality. Or add to your list — 
 
5. If my brain explodes because I thought up so many unlikely hypothetical situations, will I still pass my medical exam?

The ones you get on the phone when you call USCIS are not the ones who get the memos first. They don't know much about what's going on so don't give a lot on what they're saying. They're probably just as clueless as we are about what will happen and when.
