Met online February 2006, met in real life for the first time March 2006, and fell in love at first sight.
Married September 2006, and started the immigration process in December.
Thus far, the experience has been one hell of a ride. In order to meet David in the first place, I had to overcome my phobia of airplanes. Well...I haven't exactly overcome the phobia yet, but it is a work in progress. Unfortunately, his job isn't as flexible as mine, so I've had to do all the flying back and forth for the visits, since I always have a job to come back to. Despite the trips back and forth and the long long long immigration process, David has made this whole journey more than worth it, and I can't imagine what life would be like if we hadn't crossed paths.
Currently, we are awaiting (somewhat impatiently) an interview date in Montreal, and are just counting down the days until we can really begin our lives together.
VJ has been a lifesaver throughout this process, and I can't possibly thank all the wonderful people here enough for all the help and support we've received here..you guys are awesome!!
