  1. Hi all, My wife's 10-year green card is getting mailed and it is right before the appointment. What does this mean? Does it mean that she will just have the citizenship test or will it still be planned for the I-751 interview? We got most of our bank statements (doing only ones sent after sending the I-751 packet (notably after December 2022, if that is acceptable)). What do you guys recommend, along with the standard items for the N-400? We hardly have anything joint other than leases (signed pages only), car insurance, health insurance and mortgage.
  2. I submitted hotel bookings of previous trips up to 2022, dental/medical insurance cards (current of that time), photos of trips, non revenue flights that were successful of getting on. Copies of passports, copy of GC (front and back), copy of marriage certificate, (recent at time of submission, in 6-month span) joint bank account, 2020 and 2021 joint tax statements, copies of leases, copies of joint statement for CitiBank Costco card, and copies of Metro PCS phone bills.
  3. Hi all, just got a piece in the mail about removing conditions from I-751 and it is at the same time as her N-400 interview. How does that work? Most things we have are under my name like car registration and utility bills, will that be a problem? With Bank Statements, how many will we need?
  4. In 2021, her passport that had the original K1 visa expired and had to have it renewed. The consulate that dealt with her passport renewal took the older one away and only has her new one.
  5. Hi all, it has been a long time since I posted here as we had been waiting on her N-400 notification. My wife found out that she is getting a notification for her N-400 interview in the mail shortly. What are some of the things that we need to know before going to the interview, and what documents will she need to bring with her?
  6. I am very confused and wanted to make sure before we have the right answer before paying for the application online. Do I use my USCIS account, or does my wife make one for herself?
  7. My wife and I have sent our form to extend her green card, but only got 2 extension notices so far. While waiting for any more from USCIS (I sent it to the right place) and have been married for more than 3 years now (got the GC on 1/14/2021), will she be able to apply for citizenship while waiting for an appointment with USCIS?
  8. Like the title says, the forms expire on 12/31/2019. Is it something to ignore when filling out the forms?
  9. My wife has a 2 year GC and will be sending my I-751 form sometime early next week. How will my wife be able to drive if her GC expired while waiting for the form to be processed? Do we get something in the mail like an extension? We live in the state of Georgia.
