We've reached the end of our journey. April 10th 3 hours after the green card interview they updated our status to new card ordered. 11 years of pain, uncertainty finally over We came to the states in 2012 and the initial marriage based gc fell through 2-3 years in because the other individual turned abusive and abandoned the case. We were undocumented for a while with no hopes till our lawyer informed us about vawa and in 2018 we applied. Thank you to everyone here that took the time to answer some of the questions/concerns ive had throughout the entire process. I-360 timeline: August 24, 2022 Card Was Picked Up By The United States Postal Service August 26, 2022 The Post Office delivered your new card to the address you gave us. August 25, 2022 The Post Office picked up mail containing your new card. Yes in the letter they said that the i-693 was the last thing needed in order for them to make a final decision. Very happy since this means an approval once we all complete the medicals hopefully. Such a long and stressful journey hopefully ending this year.

The interview case status update was actually them requesting for medicals from all of us.

They just scheduled us for i485 interview. Timeline went like this for i360 August 23, 2022 We approved your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant. June 22, 2022 We sent a request for additional evidence for your Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant. For i485 they transferred case to somewhere else then applied fingerprints then scheduled the interview. Do the medicals come after interview or before? Also what is the i485 interview process like? how do i prepare

Vawa was approved August of last year. I'm a beneficiary under my mom along with my other siblings. Just yesterday my mother got an update on her own greencard application that they resheculed an interview for the i485. The thing is that they never scheduled an initial interview? is that normal? Also none of mines and my siblings i485 have any updates just our mothers. Is this also normal? Will each of ours be subject to different hold times? i thought it was all being processed together.
