I haven't found any local liquor that didn't give me a terrible hangover. My wife has been in the US since 07 and we visit Phil's about every 3 years. I find it best to send a balikbayan box with plenty of assorted liquors ahead of time, we like to go during Fiesta. We also send "ladies drink" so everyone can enjoy. I've sent boxed wine, scotch, rum, tequila, vodka, and brandy. The men in my wife's family and the neighbors really enjoy trying new selections. I also send shot glasses to avoid sharing one glass around the party table. A dart board and decks of cards are popular too.
