  1. In a very interesting turn of events - my local USCIS office called me three days ago to ask if I can attend the oath ceremony two days later (my N400 was approved a month ago, and they were waiting for my ROC to be approved, which was approved in a week after N400 approval). I immediately said, "yes." Within minutes, they emailed me my oath ceremony notice (N-445), which was uploaded even on my USCIS profile after a few hours. And finally, I am a US citizen. Had my oath ceremony yesterday. The day was special, as my wife and kiddo, as well as my in-laws, attended the ceremony. Sending you all my best wishes. God bless America.
  2. Hey guys, my immigration journey has come to an end, finally. My conditional green card was approved three weeks ago (a week after N-400 interview and its approval). I received my 10 years' green card a week ago - I am not sure why they event sent it as I had to retun it (along with with expired one and the expired employment card they had sent three years ago) during my citizenship naturalization oath ceremony yesterday. Wishing you all good luck.
  3. Hey guys, just an update: my immigration journey is seemingly coming soon to a happy ending. I had my N400 interview yesterday, and my application was approved. However, the officer didn’t have my ROC/I751 file, so they couldn’t do my oath ceremony (they usually do same day at my filed office), as they said they’d approve the ROC file first (in a few days after they receive my file) and then will send me oath ceremony details. They also gave me a one-page document confirming that my N400 was successful and that they recommended me for the citizenship. Hoping my I751 also gets approved soon and I get my oath ceremony done soon.
  4. Vermont filer here. No movement on I751, but I filed N400 this february and my naturalization investview has been schedule (next month). I am hoping this will be a combo interview.
  5. Hey guys, just to update you: got my interview letter today (scheduled for late August), 4 months and 1 week after completing the biometrics. However, the letter doesn't mention 1) if it's a combo interview (I-751 also pending) and 2) if my spouse should also accompany me (it's spouse-based, three-year N400). Please let me know if you have any comment on these points.
  6. How come you don't have the 48-month extention letter yet? I think a majority of people may have already got it; I received mine a couple of months ago. I was hoping to be done with N-400 in four-five months like most people, but it just sucks how annoyingly inefficient the system has become in the last couple of years (my conditional green card was approved barely in around four months.)
  7. Me too - on the same boat: I-751 pending since Nov 2021 and N-400 being “actively reviewed” since 1 March. Seems like a never-ending episode of life. This wait is a little too much, especially after filing N-400 five months ago, as I see a large number of people already done with their N-400 within a few months.
  8. We are on the same boat. My biometrics were done on March 1, after I filed n400 in the first week of Feb. there has since been zero movement. Just waiting, while I see many folks from other places/states already having interviews scheduled. What’s your local field office? Mine is Mount Laurel, nj. I am hoping we get interview notice in May and be done with it by June.
  9. Thank you. I751 process has been disheartening and way too lengthy for most of us, and it's been so annying. Hope my N400 also moves fast like yours.
  10. Wooho, this is so fast and so cool. Good luck with the interview.
  11. This is super cool. Congratulations. I was also eligible to fily my N400 (with I751 still pending) the same month you did, but i filed only in February, so I am three months behind you. it's good to see they are working with a fair speed, at least for N400 cases.
  12. Kristin, I read your naturalization review via the link in your signature. It's very well written, descrptive, and informative. Thanks for sharing with us. Is the oath ceremony usually done the same day after N400 interview is successfull?
  13. Yes, you are right. Your case was extremely easy for them to make a decsion on. Most people, including myself, are still dealing with ROC, which surely increases scrtiny levels and hence the timeline for the officer dealing with N400.
