  1. No matter which visa you file, your going to have red flags. How did your US fiance' obtain US citizenship?
  2. I have seen men with ties & blazer , and others jeans with a Polo shirt.
  3. Hello, do you know if they also upload the Oath letter in your USCIS account?
  4. Thank you, Im looking at the letter and does not mention anyting about the spouse. Im going to go with him anyways, and see if they let me in to stay in waiting area.
  5. Actually this happened to us, my husband had his 10 year greencard interview back in 2019 - Houston Tx. and they asked for my Egyptian marriage certificate along with the Egytian divorce certificate showing the divorce was registured.
  6. You will need a lawyer, but how did you not know you were divorced?, Didnt your husband have to go to court for the approval of the divorce by the Judge & signing of final divorce decree?
  7. For the ones who had thier N-400 interview in Houston, is your spouse allowed to sit in waiting area?
  8. Did you see that 1300 people took the Oath few days ago in Houston? I wonder if the Houston office waits until they have a certain amount of people before scheduling the Oath.
  9. On April 9, 2024 Notified of interview Houston office May 14, 2024 for my husband. Was able to print interview letter from his USCIS account.
  10. Im sorry for what happened to you, and yes your case shows red flags, BUT good thing, you waited 4 years to marry again. That is a bit of a plus for you. Have you checked your case on line? You may want to make a info pass appointment, maybe get answers there. You can overcome this, I married to soon after my Ex- Egyptian husband divorced me, but my current ( and last Husband) and I managed to get through the process, and we had LOTS of red flags. Finally after nearly 3 years , He was granted a 10 year green card back in 2019 He now is awiting processing of his citizenship. ♥
  11. Is this the first time you seeing him face to face? and I dont mean with a computer screen?
  12. As one poster said you have been given good information, but also, you need to check into his back ground to see if any trouble he got into if any before this conviction, do not just take what information he provides. Also you need to meet and know his family & friends. You need a lot of back ground on this guy before saying I do or even just him filing a fiancé' visa. You should truly do your homework on this man, see if you can read the court records on him on these charges. Make yourself think with your head & not just with your heart. Prisoner who are counting down the freedom days will do and say anything to a woman to have a place to stay when released. That just don't mean a place to sleep, but also financial support, employment to gain for him may not be easy to find with his convictions. Best wishes.
