  1. Yes, there was something wrong with our credit card authorization payment form, so we went with check for our second application.
  2. Hi all, We (re)submitted our application on Jan-4, tracking showed arrived on Jan-6. It's been a bit over a week now and we haven't received text notification and no payment has charged from us. Does anyone know if you will still receive text notification if the application has been rejected? Following the recent filing threads, most people are receiving their text notifications/payment charged 2-3 days after package has been delivered. Ours is decently past that so we're quite worried. Our first application was sent Nov-28, arrived Dec-1 and was back in our mailbox around Dec-29 due to incorrect payment. We didn't sign up for text notification for this one. The pages of our application was stamped with a processing date of Dec-5 so from our experience, we know the USCIS is able to process applications just a few days after they have been delivered. It's frustrating that it takes a whole month for the rejected package to be returned, we'd really like to know if we can know early if that's the case!
  3. That's really unfortunate that happened to you on your K1 application! It's such a strict application and the wait is so nerve wracking as well. Glad you got your confirmation this time, and hope the NOA arrives for you soon!
  4. If you don't mind me asking, what were the reasons for your rejections? Our first AOS application in December was rejected due to CC application being incorrect somehow, and now our second application (resent Jan 3rd, delivered Jan 6th) is nearly a week without SMS notification. We sent a cheque this time following the instructions on the USCIS website so we're really, really hoping the AOS is not rejected and returned due to payment again. We are outside the 90 day window with the second AOS application though, so maybe that could be reason for delay... All speculation from our end, hoping to hear more about your experience!
  5. Oh no, that's a nightmare situation having two rejections! I'm glad you didn't have issues after that, and it's really a relief for us to hear the stamped stuff is not a problem! I hadn't considered printing an updated application as well, that's a great idea.
  6. Yes, my expiry date was mid December. We filed late in our window but it definitely arrived within the 90 days. We're outside the 90 days now but we can only re-submit, so here we go! The NOA stated the only problem was the credit card. My husband who filled out the form says he doesn't recall adding the CC's CVV to the form and after checking, Form G-1450 doesn't have a space to enter the CVV. We suspect that's the case because I applied for a passport renewal with my embassy which used the same form and the embassy called me to get the CVV saying otherwise that application would be rejected and returned. Going ahead with cheque for the next one!!
  7. Removed to quote on reply properly
  8. An update, we have received our whole package back 4 weeks later with NOA, credit card denied and told to resubmit and to include the NOA form to our next application. There is a contact email included in case we have questions. We will definitely sign up for the text update this time! For anyone curious, every page of our application has been stamped with a serial number of sorts, with a blank page between each different segment of evidence. (We used paperclips.) Our original envelope was also stapled to the back of the entire application. Cover page is missing, will need to reprint and note why our submission is now late. We aren't sure whether to send clean copies of everything or if our original but stamped pages can simply be resubmitted as is. I think clean copies but my husband does not want to waste so much paper. We'll browse older posts and see how others did.
