You would not be allowed to bring your new baby to the US without father's permission Read the case of Cuban 5 year old Elian Gonzalez that the US had to return to his father in Cuba when the mother tried to bring him to US in 1999 / the case caused an international incident https://www.cnn.com/2020/06/21/americas/elian-gonzalez-cuba-expecting-baby-trnd/index.html Here a parent can not even move a child from state to state without permission from other parent if they have joint custody

JeanneAdil replied to balba's topic in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports
SS card may not show restrictions but if do not change the status in the SS computers to citizen instead of LPR, there are jobs closed to u the card will not change but SS computers will be updated When you Become a U.S. Citizen Apply for a U.S. Passport/Passport Card. You will get an application for a U.S. passport at your naturalization ceremony in the U.S. Citizenship Welcome Packet. ... Register to Vote. ... Update your Social Security Record. -
Just quoting the USCIS site as the other poster didn't know what was allowed and the OP is too far into the K1 to change to aCR1 Case is already at NVC and as an immigrant OP needs to file US taxes so any company must have a permission to do business here I know people work under the table but i also know others like to turn them into IRS for the monetary reward

contracts vary normal is 7 or 8 months but Stephanie worked a 2 month contract on her summer vacations and after getting masters 4 months before starting her PHD Do u know if your ship will stop in Mexico and what islands it will stop at your C/1D is for US only if u stop at an island like Grand Cayman and u have to have a British visa to visit UK, u need a British visa to depart the ship some of our Caribberian islands are Dutch or British territories . there u must follow their visa rules -
USCIS says the following https://www.uscis.gov/family/family-of-us-citizens/visas-for-fiancees-of-us-citizens After being admitted to the U.S. on a K-1 nonimmigrant visa, your fiancé(e) may immediately apply for evidence of work authorization by filing Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization. In this case, your fiancé(e)’s work authorization is valid for only 90 days after his or her entry into the U.S. Your fiancé(e) may also apply for work authorization at the same time he or she applies for a Green Card. In this case, your fiancé(e) can file Form I-765 together with the Form I-485. In this case, your fiancé(e)’s work authorization is valid for one year and may be extended in one-year increments. BUT the company must follow US regulations to do business in the US

Getting off the cruise ship at the ports with a C1/D Visa
JeanneAdil replied to PlagueisMD's topic in Work Visas
1st time u are doing a contract , so u will be flown in a few days ahead of departure to go over the contract and cruise ship rules after this initial 1st time, if u sign for contract with same line, they will fly u in closer to date of departure if going with another ship, the process will be repeated Contracts usually are for 7 or 8 months and u may be able to sign for another months long contract when this one is over but usually the ships give u a few months off and fly u home as u work 7 days a week on board trust me u will need this break between contracts -

JeanneAdil replied to PlagueisMD's topic in Work Visas
Cruise ships fly the worker into the US just a few days (or even the day of ) departing you will have time off the ship in the different ports for a little shopping (not all cruise ship members are allowed off at the same time) you have time to do a little shopping and wash clothes as ship crews hate to wash on the ships ships are only in home ports a few days before it sails out again when your contract is over the cruise ship flys u back to your home country u will never be in the US for 29 days and no , u do not need tourist visa the C/1D acts as the transit visa for the length of your contract make sure u keep your passport and another form of photo ID with u when u are off ship -
so, your plan is for her to come a week return for 180 days then stay a week and go back without the reentry permit spending only 2 weeks this year is playing with fire the visa is meant for her to live here so very sorry for her mom's illness / i know its hard as my son was going thru 9 back surgeries along with other surgeries when i had to visit Adil to satisfy immigration spending "quality time with my husband" choosing what to do is never easy have u thought to email embassy and ask if u can put a hold on the visa / it would require a new medical but how many years can u handle this?
