where u told to do biometrics this way ? As immigration site says . Additionally, the Homeland Security Council decided that the U.S. standard for biometric screening is ten fingerprint scans collected at all U.S. Embassies and Consulates for visa applicants seeking to come to the United States https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/border-biometrics.html -
since people have found a way to create fake money orders and even certified checks , many places wait for the money order to clear the place it was bought. in the past it was instant credit so, ask post office or the bank u purchased it to know when it will clear BTW when buying these from post office , u have to wait 2 months before u can check on a lost MO banks are faster -about 2 weeks so, u r asking a question that really can't be answered here sorry i was only pointed out that is u plan international travel in 10 days, u won't have the reentry trip in time as it takes anywhere from 6 months and on

you do not mention the country/embassy so u need to look at the embassy wait times to see when they would be interviewed some are waiting long just to have the interview https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html

he has to have a divorce waiver and NC makes a person wait a year for divorce to be final even though it says quickee divorce in NC posted by some sites , the state says no so, he won't be able to have a divorce waiver if interview comes soon and he needs the ROC to keep the green card to work and maintain status so, in his case, he needs immigration attorney

Document update
JeanneAdil replied to Mr Ibrahim's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
it has not yet been a year from your petition which is normal I can only guess that your name "as wrong " on the copy u sent may trigger an RFE which is not a big issue since u have the corrected document since this is Pakistan and names are used over and over , it may resemble a name spelling already in USCIS system or it could go as is i would not send anything till u get an RFE and if u do , send that notice with an explanation (with both your names, petition receipt # and both DOB's as USCIS has been known to loose things) and copy of the new document . Even with documents scanned into computer, VJ members posts over and over, i got a notice to send a document i already sent -
Vote for CR1 as in the long run, its cheaper easier to get the SS # , DL, add to health care insurance and work (even if she doesn't want to work) BTW if K1 and marriage in US , the cost of AOS after marriage for the green card is expected to go in 2023 from $1225 to $2820 and these days the K1 and CR1 are taking about the same time (18 months to 2 years)

https://www.nccourts.gov/help-topics/divorce-and-marriage/separation-and-divorce#:~:text=Unlike some other states%2C North, least one y you need to know rounds for divorce as seems a lawyer is not telling u 1. Can I get divorced after less than a year if I prove fault? No. Unlike some other states, North Carolina only allows for no-fault divorce, which requires at least one year of separation. good part is you do not have to have separation agreement but do need to be living in separate housing 2. What are the requirements for a divorce in North Carolina? You are eligible to file for divorce, also called an “absolute divorce,” only after being separated for at least a year and a day. This means that you must have been living in different homes and that at least one of you intended that the separation be permanent during that time. To file for a divorce in North Carolina, either you or your spouse must currently live in North Carolina and must have lived in the state for at least six months before the divorce case is filed. 3. and read what it says about mental illness u don't have to wait for her paperwork /u can file AS, your wife has u between a rock and a hard place if you are called to interview soon and u need to have the ROC

Organizing paperwork for Tokyo Embassy
JeanneAdil replied to D&T01's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
submitted I 130 in October 2022 so you have quite a while to wait after the 2nd phase at NVC , it will depend on whether u interview prior to April 15th 2024 or after 1. your passport 2. the original I 864 from petition 3. USC tax retrurns with W2's and any 1099's 2022 if before 4/15/2024 2023 tax returns if after 4/15/2024 4. USC proof of US residency 5. marriage certificate in native language and English translation 6. original birth certificate in native language and English translation 7. photos of the 2 of you with marriage and any visits 8. any other documents required per NVC/embassy mail for interview not from Japan but that's how we did it if u go to your profile and choose country flag, the post will be captured in Japan portal and others from your country will respond best to u both -
https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ The above is projected processing times for K1 in Texas if your case is trully there 16.5 months for a K1 hope ur case will go faster Be patient But Too soon to make any plans and never pay for a airline ticket or wedding venue till that visa is in hand after the embassy interview, the case goes thru AP for administration processing and may be days, weeks or months till u get a visa the best life to u both in the USA

New Mexico is a state in the US / no border control unless u hit one of the border stations inside the state set up in high risk areas checking for illegals /like someone says "below I 10" U will go thru security at airport as we all do but when u get off plane in New Mexico, u don't go thru customs and immigration /ITS THE USA

you still have to establish that US residency so when u come, get a DL and /or open bank account if u don't work (UK husband supports) send letter to IRS to show no tax return filed (this will be at the 2nd stage of process -NVC stage) u will still do a I 864 and will need to show income of 0 you will need joint sponsor to complete the income requirements and insructions for I 864 tell u how that works If mom can not qualify, u will need someone else Do you get a letter from IRS for not filing taxes? An IRS Verification of Nonfiling Letter (VNF) will provide proof from the IRS that there is no record of a filed tax form (1040, 1040A, or 1040EZ) for the year you have requested. A VNF does not provide proof that you were not required to file, only that you did not file.
