I-130 process for a daughter
JeanneAdil replied to rooji's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
MIL can apply for the daughter but still lists the husband (even if divorced with divorce papers) and all kids (hers and stepchildren) and no she would not live in that state of marriage but needs to know the state's laws where she would live and i feel so bad for her as sounds like she was used and abandoned and I understand the corrupt governments part of this but of course i can not know the full extent of corruption as i have not lived it but money talks does she have anyone (public offical or IMAM ) to aid in a divorce Even she would have to go thru a Pakistan embassy to try to divorce outside the country making her stuck in marriage and honestly she may not want to report him to Canadian officals but i would and anyone else in the family can Again, for the family, u have my sincere prayers that sometime this will be resolved incha allah allah yessir -
Sponsor Background Check?
JeanneAdil replied to Jalan's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
Just include the offenses and mental health record (with court dispostions of record(s) and treatment(s) for mental health ) your offenses are in the past and not ones that mean disqualification U4U could be faster but at this time it says the following The temporary Uniting for Ukraine program, sometimes called U4U, offers a two-year stay in the U.S., given that individuals or families find someone, or an organization, to financially sponsor their stay. After that two years, the Ukrainians' pathway to citizenship is unclear, if attainable at all.Jan 20, 2023 But to add "i can't see either democrats or republicans not offering citizenship later on as they are not here illegally" my 2 cents -
I-130 process for a daughter
JeanneAdil replied to rooji's topic in Bringing Family Members of US Citizens to America
Sorry, u fixed the birth certificates? changing the mother's listed name as your daughter's Husband , as she still is married , needs to be listed AND THE BIG AND she needs to divorce as she is part of a polygamist family which is illegal in the US Situations that are illegal such as polyamy , marrying first cousins when not legal in the state mean denial at interview so, if she follows immigration rules , listing husband , her 2 children and her 2 stepchildren-his kids r stepchildren as she is still married to him and her situation (with no divorce) it will be a long wait and denial at the end the husband needs to be listed and offical divorce degree needs to be sent in by NVC stage and shown to be legal document at interview Was she his 1st wife and if so, did she give permission for him to marry again? It is illegal in many countries, including Pakistan. According to Pakistani law, a man can only marry again if he has Permission from his first wife. If he marries without her Permission, he can be punished by up to five years in jail and a fine of up to 500,000 rupees. -

Ok i made several times the poverty lever and was denied 1st CR1 there are too many factors that determine whether u are approved the visa or not CO can go by the time u have been at this new job, stability of the company (employer ) itself and your total earnings history/that is why some CO's ask for 3 years of tax returns U can avoid the income level by getting a joint sponsor /then that is not an issue And i know the list says lower 48 states but in truth its very expensive to live say in NYC or Miami unlike where i live If u choose formal advice , a good immigration lawyer can look at your total case and advise

Change of Embassy CR1
JeanneAdil replied to sis201's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
the problems is that she could go for extended AP no matter where she interviews and the embassy could keep her passport , so she needs to be a legal resident and the ability to stay and support herself in another country -

Hotels near NY MOroccan Consulate
JeanneAdil replied to Beth & Achraf's topic in Middle East and North Africa
Search your Hotel close to the Moroccan Consulate in New York When you need to find a place to stay close to the Moroccan consulate we provide a handy hotel search box for accommodation in a hotel or guesthouse in New York, the United States. the consulate is in Manhattan and nothing will be cheap i know there is a Mariott and a Hotel Suites by Hilton u'll still need to take a taxi from hotel to embassy If u r driving up the big expense is parking so make sure the hotel has free parking for quests and u do need an appointment The old application , passport photos, and other required documents will be mailed and processed in Morocco so take self addressed stamped envelopes to get them mailed back to u from the US embassy/ it took us about 6 weeks total to get the new passport incha allah -
With a consent to release form signed to your Congress Rep, he /she could inquire and WOULD GET the same answers u get The embassy is doing the extra security checks often done on persons from your country Till the checks are finished, nothing will happen and u just wait there is no expedite at this stage When they are done, a new medical will more than likely be needed as the other will expire

JeanneAdil replied to NK_001's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
I 791 receipt will come by post and any RFE if needed after that its by email and do not expect to see very much in line of notifications or updates /they just don't happen unless its an RFE -
did the CO/embassy retain the passport? soft denial is everyone as we all go thru AP either for extended security or just the time to print the visa (about a week if medical expires and all documents are approved, embassy will require new medical -not an issue its not hopeless but we do not know the details of the case or interview Never give up hope
