Now that immigration has gone into allowing us to apply on computers, i would hope the computers are generating the necessary security checks on new cases and u would automatically receive email to update 1. the receipt 2. computer asks FBI for background check 3. state check is done for driving records (not necessarily in FBI records) 4. FBI name check which can be different than criminal report 5. check on any international travel u would get notice that the computer did something but never know what the something was there will be new updates when those reports are returned to USCIS this does not mean a CO is actually working on the petition yet but computer Is At least i hope they let the computers do this automatically

going thru back posts it appears u r in Maryland It says on their site to get permit u need to show u have applied for lawful permanent residence Lawful status must be verified through the U. S. Department of Homeland Security-SAVE, to verify that the visa status is no longer A or G categories; and that you have applied for another status or lawful permanent residence. Also u need to take a 3 hour safe and sober course and get the certificate so take the course and get that part out of the way https://mva.maryland.gov/drivers/Pages/international-applicants.aspx

I-134 and tax information questions
JeanneAdil replied to cameronpaasch's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
send copy of payment plan with tax forms along with evidence of payments Can I sponsor an immigrant if I owe back taxes? Generally, a person who owes back taxes may face difficulties in obtaining certain types of visas, including the K1 visa. However, if the sponsor is currently paying the taxes owed on a payment plan with the IRS and can demonstrate that they are meeting the terms of the agreement, this may be viewed more favorably. -
I-134 and tax information questions
JeanneAdil replied to cameronpaasch's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
you need to go to HR and , if needed , file a new W4 to have taxes withheld this is not something the employer can choose /its up to the employee to choose to withhold taxes or be exempt correct before end of the year so it doesn't continue to go on -
