  1. wouldn't the embassy in London be able to access the records on computer?
  2. are u a Moroccan legal resident? if not, u can't interview there u can't shop embassies for visa interview To be legal resident in Moroc , you need criminal report from Pakistan, UAE and any other country u have legal residency medical exam and Moroccan bank account and to open one the following is required Passport: A valid, up-to-date passport is mandatory. Proof of address: This can be a rental agreement or a recent utility bill. Residency card or work permit: If you’re living or working in Morocco, you’ll need to show proof of your legal status. Letter from your employer: If you’re employed in Morocco, a letter from your employer confirming your position and salary is required. Initial deposit: Some banks may require a minimum initial deposit to open the account. Getting legal residency in Moroc is not that easy https://ma.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/residency-requirements-for-foreigners-in-morocco/#:~:text=There are eight categories of,a) closest to your residence.
  3. it would be best for the spouse in Turkey to get the required documents from Turkey as they also need to have an English translation and he can send u copies as they are accepted by NVC . He will need originals for his interview so leave them with him.
  4. For K1 CO will look at how well you know the intending immigrant How long have u know the intending immigrant? Are u sending money to fiancee / not a great idea? and if there are any red flags like language difference, big age difference, religious difference? Does her family approve of the marriage and US marriage without them present? Is she of child bearing age? All those are also looked at for spouse visa but the marriage makes the petition stronger /can't explain why but it is stronger evidence itself of union and real relationship the K1 initial process to interview is about the same as spouse but timeframe to AOS after US marriage is incredibly longer and more expensive
  5. she had a job so assume she had green card and u paid $1225 to AOS and filed out the I 864 meaning u r responsible for her if she applies for government benefits and u should know where she works so she hasn't totally disappeared as a lawyer can serve divorce papers to her job / u need to stay away Credit card / i would take out a small loan to pay it off and then totally cancel it / u may not charge anymore on it but if she has a card with her name she still can / after paying off the balance , sue her in small claims court for the credit card debt. California laws Generally, you can only sue for up to $10,000 in small claims court When you close a credit card and you still owe a balance, the debt you owe doesn't go away. The card agreement still applies, and you are still legally responsible for repayment. The following will also go on as normal: You'll continue receiving credit card statements in the mail.Oct 24, 2023 Divorce , move on, encourage her to work 10 years to gain 40 credit hours of work or to naturalize , getting u off the hook for the I 864 GF??? not right away / get over this first
  6. u r from Iraq and going to interview in Turkey? follow members from your country to see the VJ timelines for interviews
  7. Read the UAE posts here by hitting the word portal above it appears UAE will schedule its own residents first but that is only what i think and my opinion from reading as your country of nationality is Pakistan, expect to have extended AP for the additional security checks done by UAE members such as "loves to teach" post on here about the process and pitfalls / her husband interviewed in UAE and was from Pakistan the Pakistan site itself could explain more about what the interview would bring in terms of AP
  8. Did u put in the case # for the K1 that u closed instead of the CR1? or NVC is now using closed (closed to NVC as work is done by them and now waits for interview) Trying to figure out what immigration is doing (at any stage) and sometimes the posts which are totally confusing, will drive u nuts I mean AP is Advanced parole and it is also administration processing and refused isn't refused , it means case is on hold till a decision is made
  9. the husband's brother can not apply for her when a USC , he can apply for his brother the following site explains the requirements for a foreigner to teach in US it does leave out the part the explains now most schools /board of education require a complete criminal background check https://www.diversityjobs.com/career-advice/career-advice/teacher-certification-for-foreign-educated-teachers/ International teachers having a permanent job offer usually apply for an EB-2 or EB-3 visa. A teacher coming to teach at a school that requires at least a Master's degree applies for an EB-2 visa; a teacher coming to teach at a school that requires a Bachelor's degree applies for an EB-3 visa EB2 and EB3 visas require an employer to sponsor
  10. Long queue and the years 2019, 2020 and 2021 are still ahead of 2023 everyone is waiting Petition will be auto extended but email the embassy stating Case #, both names and both DOB and state u r unable to schedule as yours is 2023 and u want case to remain open probably need new police report at that time
  11. your timeline shows K1 for fiancee and post is for CR1 spouse Did the case sit in NVC for over a year for the steps to be completed?
  12. Sounds plasible Here in Tennessee where we both are, the state has centers called pain management that handles all psychotic drugs / not by regular doctor. u should have been advised about her condition and medications. I would check my house thoroughly. the following statement defines psychosis and if she was taking any drugs , herself, that bought on her illness, it is possible she slipped him dose or doses . easy to do if he eats some foods you don't eat . Psychosis may occur as a result of a psychiatric illness like schizophrenia. In other instances, it may be caused by a health condition, medications, or drug use. Possible symptoms include delusions, hallucinations, talking incoherently, and agitation Nashville has 4 big mental health centers that are arranged in the 4 corners/ so one of them will be close to u / get him there if he didn't go before he left and feel free to explain what happened Take care and God bless u Remember a Good Moroccan man is a real good man and we're lucky to have found one
  13. He may or may not face an interview and serious questions at the POE no way we could know it really depends on CBP and the POE Be ready for CBP to also question u and be sure he knows to tell them "my wife waits here for me" He can even have preclearance at Toronto or Montreal and with valid US visa stamp he can transit in Paris as long as there is no change of airports Take good care of both of u allah yessir
  14. Part 4 Information about the beneficary starting with ## 17 u do list his current and former spouse(s) and then all children (1 by 1) BUT this does not include them in the petition just important that they are listed now as leaving them off creates problems for future petitions
  15. In your post u do not say what u wanted for yourself Are u going to insist he get help from qualified personal? and help pay his share of bills instead of u supporting him financially? Think hard about what is best for your family I allowed my sister, who I never met, come to stay with us last year (she left after a few months) If he broke down within a few months from your sister's ill mouth, he had some underlying issues sorry for what u go thru , very sorry but if his religion is important to him, read about Islam and understand a Muslim man is expected to support his wife and praying is important / Allah is in control is what my Adil says look for a support group (maybe 2 ) one for his mental health and one that is comprised of Muslims
  16. ours took only 2 weeks but that was priior to covid 2 months is more likely now and if his name is commonly used in mexico , it takes time to research names
  17. The truth -always the truth CO will assume u have immigrant intent as u r single and have weak ties to home college is not one as u can finish college in the US
  18. As a USC retire to Germany As an American, you can stay in Germany for up to 90 days without a visa. To stay longer, you’ll need to apply for a temporary residence permit (Aufenthaltserlaubnis) during your initial 90 days. This will more than likely require your passport, proof of German address, proof of health insurance and evidence that you can financially support yourself without working. Temporary residence permits last one year, and they’re fairly easy to renew. Once you’ve spent five years in Germany, you can receive a more permanent settlement (Niederlassungserlaubnis). Depending on your specific circumstances, this may require you to demonstrate knowledge of the German language and society.
  19. Did u show the CR1 stamp on passport or just use marriage license to apply? if they did not see the valid CR1 and I 551 stamp they need to get info from immigration and POE date taking many over 2 months to get the SS # thru immigration so the investigation could be the computer shows "applied for"
  20. my 3 stepchildren were French Canadian and came to live with American father (my late husband ) when mother was killed in accident so, we were thrusted into the situation with no warning so i do know about combining families and dealing with 4 sets of grandparents and all else that is involved but for the immigration part of this , how do u plan to explain his addresses at AOS appointment(s)? and will immigraition know? yeah, on a K1 you have to financial provide for them even for the medical insurance enroll the kids in school with address of the apartment and for the kids , you want them to come here and if it doesn't work out, go back? WOW that's really unfair
  21. If the CO asks Who is going to visit and stay with? she needs to say u as otherwise its lying to immigration officer Never do that Tourist visa is about her returning to home country so she needs strong ties and all CO's at embassy assume the person has immigrant intent so she needs to prove she will not marry and AOS in the US 1. own property in Indonesia 2. job and //or contract she needs to return to 3. money for the trip / u can pay but she needs to disclose where ticket will come from 4...return ticket at POE for CBP
  22. Yep, worried too much apply when u get back as biometrics may happen fast bio is fingerprints and photo IR 1 bio was done at interview (fingerprints at embassy) passport photos taken to interview the biometrics photo taken now will appear on the naturalization certificate at lower left hand side Best to u
  23. our biometrics was within 2 weeks let's hope the Nashville office does it as they sent us to Atlanta but interviewed in Nashville several months later
  24. you take all documents to interview as u did DCF not a petition like we do that goes USCIS, then NVC and onto embassy and medical is required, if not done before interview, they would put case in AP till medical was completed so, glad u have one scheduled
  25. its not the kids that will do as much adjusting as its the parents You have to decide who shares a room you have to care for all when illness strikes and if young , measles, mumps and chickenpox are no fun and neither is it when the flu hits the family and everyone needs the bathroom you have to divide the work of who picks up who from school, band practice, football practice, dancing lessons , etc and who goes to watch one compete and who goes to another we ate many a meal on the road but saved Sunday to share the big dinner and what had happened in the week you have to save for college / i had 3 in universities for 2 years so scholarships are needed cultural differences you need to explain kids will have disagreements / let them work it out for things like who gets the remote, get a xbox and turn it into competition / actually brings kids together our food fight was fun till they found out they had to clean up Call them our kids not my kids and your kids
