  1. i was going to burn it but Adil applied for his brother and i may need some of the dates and other for NVC years from now /no way would i or he remember everything and if any past employer went out of business, documents might not be available
  2. The release committment comes from the home country not the US government agency sponsor / donated agency is different than government agency Who sponsors a J1 visa? The Secretary of State appoints sponsor organizations for J1 visas. These organizations can come in various forms, including government agencies, educational institutions, academic organizations, cultural organizations, non-profit organizations, and for-profit organizations.May 6, 2023 and how would a person pay back to government agencies and yes, home country can waive the requirement/ offer of an internship or decent job offer can waive a lot of rules contact the embassy and go that route
  3. to leave the US proof of covid vaccine and free of the illness is no longer required but getting the new booster is a good idea i would still use a mask not only because of covid but the flu if traveling in US , hotels at Christmastime are not busy (almost empty) as people are staying with family but nice sometimes to stay in one of these as rates go down and family homestead may be crowded. if u know a good real estate agent, u can rent out your apartment or house to other travelers while u r gone, to help your own expenses Actually Thanksgiving is the most traveled holiday so allow ample time to go thru security at US airport Atlanta expectations are Hartsfield-Jackson expects 3.6 million passengers between Nov. 17 and Nov. 28.
  4. is the following your circumstance? If so the 2 year home-country directly applies to u Some exchange visitors (with J-1 visas) are subject to the two-year home-country physical presence requirement. This includes current and former exchange visitors. You are subject if one or more of the following applies to you: Government funded Exchange Program - You participated in a program funded in whole or in part by a U.S. government agency, your home country’s government, or an international organization that received funding from the U.S. government or your home country’s government. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/study/exchange/waiver-of-the-exchange-visitor/eligibility.html
  5. with CO and interviews its providing health care insurance, food and housing, and monthly money basically those things that a person could get from social services to add assistance to the household or on their own if displaced some of this is a cultural question but to AOS u need to prove combined assets not necessarily money but names added to insurance policies, rent or deed, bank accounts, etc but to have a decent relationship, USC would probably make sure the K1 bene has a cell and contract so the person is not isolated from family and friends and make sure they have clothes as needed , a driving license if a car is required for grocery shopping and just plain getting to learn their way around. its hard enough to move and not feel homesick (as discussed on here many times) but the person can't be left at home with nothing but the marriage partner
  6. Add to the K1 that is a she bringing in fiancee which (for some reason is more difficult than a USC male bringing in a fiancee ) i know as this was our case also in Africa
  7. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/all-forms/n-600-application-for-certificate-of-citizenship-frequently-asked-questions I do not currently reside in the United States. Am I still eligible for a Certificate of Citizenship? Persons who acquired U.S. citizenship and reside abroad should seek evidence of citizenship through a passport application to the Department of State. In most cases, one must be living in the United States to apply for a Certificate of Citizenship. Generally, you cannot automatically acquire citizenship after birth through your parent if you have not been lawfully admitted for permanent residence to the U.S. However, a parent or legal guardian may be able to apply for naturalization for you under section 322 of the Immigration and Nationality Act if you are under 18 years of age and temporarily present in the United States pursuant to a lawful admission, which includes a lawful admission in non-immigrant status. Please refer to Form N-600K, Application for Citizenship and Issuance of Certificate Under Section 322 for more information.
  8. you will be hard pressed to prove u had to move away from wife for residency during the covid era since we were so hard up for doctors and nurses the following happened Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, several states have also issued temporary licenses to physicians without requiring a residency. The American Medical Association (AMA) took similar measures, making it easier for IMGs to gain licensure. Because the pandemic and Russia's invasion of Ukraine disrupted the process by which some IMGs had their licenses verified, the AMA is now encouraging state licensing boards and other credentialing institutions to accept certification from the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates as verification, rather than requiring documents directly from international medical schools. Also:: You can work as a medical assistant, research assistant, or find an observership where you are limited and do far less than what you did in your 3rd year of medical school. Essentially, you work without pay hoping this will boost your CV before reapplying for residency again the next year.
  9. If no red flags and quality time spent together , the CR1 visa far outweighs the K1 hopefully when crazycat wakes, he will post the big differences between the 2 but for now, its easier to get the SS # , a driving license and all in all it is less expensive as AOS after US marriage is $1225 and they have asked for increase in that fee. Timeline for AOS and waiting is a painfully long u chose right Nolo law red flags https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html
  10. yes , it has happened in Nigeria before officer should have shown his ID to the mom for this visit One i remember was 2 or 3 years ago and was asked about here on VJ I recall the officer visiting while the spouse was home and at that visit he also called the US spouse and asked questions about the house in Nigeria itself as supposedly she had stayed there. The USC never followed up here on VJ with the outcome and didn't post a timeline Only thing that sounds strange is "no ID shown" and " only 1 officer" i believe 2 came in the other post
  11. At this point u can not transfer citizenship as u became a UCS after they were born file the I129 for fiancee /it allows for deviatives K2 visas for the twins https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/K1_Process_V11.pd\ If u married, u would need to file I 130 for each ,wife and 2 kids
  12. she owes money and needs to pay it to get a clear report paying $400 for a bribe would not clear the debt from her records but if u can't get the report the embassy has to but AP will be long provide a document from Jordan to show they will not give u the report (see if NVC accepts and that gets u to an interview) but Resident and nonresident residing in Jordan can obtain the PCC from Jordan by apply in person or by mail: Apply in person to the Ministry of Justice. Need to apply himself as no one can apply on your behalf. Provide your full name, date and place of birth, your parents’ names, Provide your fingerprint sets. Identity documents (it can be your ID card/passport). You must also present two photographs, a copy of your passport and fee stamps. Non Resident Request for PCC from Jordan: All above mentioned documents need to be submitted. Also need to submit a copy of your resident permit. What is "good moral character?" U.S. immigration law actually says more about what is isn't than what it is. The law sets out some automatic bars to a finding of good moral character, such as commission of certain crimes. But neither debt, unemployment, nor bankruptcy is on that list.
  13. The IRS disregards the LLC entity as being separate and distinct from the owner. Essentially, this means that the LLC typically files the business tax information with your personal tax returns on Schedule C. The profit or loss from your businesses is included with the other income your report on Form 1 134a he files the 134a not u your 134 is separate and his wife as joint tax returns needs to file 134a also https://www.uscis.gov/i-134a
  14. https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-fees/uscis-immigrant-fee After you are admitted to the United States, USCIS will: Verify that you paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee; and Mail your Green Card to the address you gave to DOS during your immigrant visa interview (or gave to CBP when you arrived in the United States, if your address changed
  15. https://ksd.uscourts.gov/events list of naturalization ceremonies / there is 1 for November 16th but if u have not recd a notice , look to the December and January dates
  16. Many airlines did stop household pets from flying in the cabin for many reasons 1 man tried to bring in a small alligator (this is for real and can be seen on youtube) and many stopped because the pets were too big others were afraid of the bird flu and stopped pet birds Luthansia still allows small cats and dogs but the cage is added to animals weight and u pay for extra carry on If the cat needs to go into the hold, he will be fine just make sure u keep his shot record with u at all times so he isn't put into quarantine
  17. 2009 you asked this question i (married 2006) son born in 2009 / u were working in Iraq u say born in USA in 2012 u asked again and say son is 2 not 3 2015 son is 5 as u say married 7 years when u would have been married 9 2016 working in Kuwait and u asked the same question / now for the 4th time 2017 u say son is 6 / he would have been 11 2018 working in Saudi ask same question 2020 same question u say married 10 years when it would have been 14 I am not sure why a natural born USC would work (not say stationed ) in Iraq, Kuwait and Saudi and why u can not keep track of how old is your child and how many years u have been married and why u didn't return to US as stated in 1 of your earlier posts there is no help as u asked same quesiton each time and did not follow thru OR YOUR WORK HISTORY WAS SUSPECT TO CO and i can not help as your numbers do not add up this subject should be closed

  19. although a lawyer is not needed to apply , there are several areas to cover to get the H 1b visa i would consult with an attorney familiar with this process / consulation fee is well worth it including all information to him/her like is this a family member u want to hire For 1 there is a yearly cap after filing for the LCA u have to post the job and The employer, before petitioning for H-1B status for any alien worker pursuant to an H-1B LCA, took good faith steps to recruit U.S. workers for the job for which the alien worker is sought, at wages at least equal to those offered to the H-1B worker. Also, the employer will offer the job to any U.S. worker who applies and is equally or better qualified than the H-1B worker. also if hiring the foreign worker and H 1b is receive, u can not displace a US worker doing the same job u have to pay the H 1b the competitive wage and all benefits offered to US worker average vet wage in Utah is $113,603 but ranges from $50,000 to $175,000 https://www.indeed.com/career/veterinarian/salaries/UT there's a lot to know https://webapps.dol.gov/elaws/elg/h1b.htm?_ga=2.18167166.677710859.1699903217-185016979.1699903217
  20. More like 1 USCIS office passing the buck to another to have local office do the N400 work and therefore the EAD is done on either the 3 or 5 year rule
  21. Keep looking and if u come up with an enforceable idea , do a petition to Congress and i will sign
  22. congress should pass a law that prevents NIV from AOS /maybe even the K1 holders as too many come, marry and then divorce after green card is issued and Congress has thought to do that but it doesn't pass
  23. I went to both Moroccoa and Peru without knowing anyone i wanted to see Machu Picchu in Peru and i volunteered my rehab skills in Rabat to help handicapped and i didn't speak either language when i travel your idea isn't enforceable / i applaud you for looking for a solution as our elected officals aren't but most of us are tired of USCIS fees
  24. there is no guarantor for tourist visa / the person must prove he will return not any USC and ICE has over 11,040,000 illegals to investigate We already have enough rules that are unenforceable /laws are no good if enforcement is impossible I agree with those that say "can not come on work, tourist or student visa and AOS to stay" but if u think your idea is worthy, send a letter of proposal to your Congressman as Congress makes the laws
