  1. we all must do what the immigration officers say to do to get the visa there is nothing else to do but get a new medical exam
  2. CO Looks at the packet before the interview Even if u had bought chats and photos, the CO would have the time to read them and they don'to U made many mistakes Marrying on 1st trip not reading about red flag issues https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html USC did not research and show health care costs were available and she could afford a policy so u would not be considered a possible public charge no W2 for tax transcripts it would be 1099 for the SSI and anyone retired would have 1099R and SSA1099 also needed but not mentioned is the sponsor(s) must show US residency proofs it will be an expensive project for either of u to print out all the chats for 3 years
  3. read the USCIS site under joint sponsor https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/green-card-processes-and-procedures/affidavit-of-support The joint sponsor (or the joint sponsor and his or her household) must reach the 125% income requirement alone. You cannot combine your income with that of a joint sponsor to meet the income requirement.
  4. CO"s can say what they believe, it can be rough but you met , and married on her 1st and only trip, that alone is red flag / C O have called immigrant a liar in the past U need more than a joint sponsor u need quality time together U need the USC to prove she has researched the cost of health care insurance in her state and she can afford it till you have a job that has company insurance / joint sponsor does not have to pay for this- joint sponsor is liable to reimberse governement if u get government benefits U need to do as embassy asks , Casa has asked in the for chats and they say chats from 2020 to present (they want all not just a section or a few-Casa wants all of them as others Moroccans have discovered). USC needs to comply and all that still does not mean u will be issued a visa i had 5 trips and spent 9 months in Morocc to finally be OK obvious u started chatting sometime in 2020 but did not met in person as that was covid year and wife's illness was used to expedite to embassy Wife's illness does not help your case marrying on 1st trip is a big NO NO for high fraud countries Income is not within proverty guideline chart believe me, I would like u 2 to be successful but do not be surprised to get notice of NOID as CO already said marriage is not bona fida (in her opinion but that is all that counts in an immigration interview) follow advice and meet more /prove your marriage is for the right reasons that is love and be ready to refile with a qualified joint sponsor-USC or LPR
  5. your wife can find a joint sponsor but with only 1 month together , the petition can still be denied SSi so she can not add u to health care policy i will say to u honestly your case is weak not enough time together Casa looks at your education and work history and area in US to see if the job market would be good for u they like to see the USC has started to commingle any of her finances with u like filing Married on tax returns MFJ is best for Morocco But if no tax returns , then other areas like a utility bill , wills u both have written in favor of the other joint accounts like charge card, deed or apartment lease Casa reviews all the red flag issues like big age difference I will very harsh in the next paragraph but Moroc is a high fraud country with many coming here and then divorcing the USC and the following is the way the CO saw the case U say her illness prevented her from staying longer sorry, but she was able to fly to Moroc, stay the month it takes to do the documents and get approval for marriage she could travel thoughout Moroc to get docment from US embassy , get to the translators to show in person the US documents were hers, travel to Rabat to office of foreign minister, and back to your home to meet with police and judge / all that had to be done to marry kiinda shows illness is not the problem. And hurts more than u can know You 2 want to be together, u need to spend quality time together and possibly refile the I 130 the chats In this case will be looked at carefully to see if u were quick to say I love u as that is a red flag sign according to Department of State Good luck and please understand Casa is tough but from what they have seen in the past, they have to be And if u really are meant to be together ,, work on your issues as hard as Adil and i did (6 years to get the visa and married almost 13)
  6. she can transfer any amount / it does require the paperwork to show where it came from Fiancee is the USC? it could be an issue to transfer when your name is not on the account Have u thought to open account with international bank like Capital one or HSBC in your name? In the US there is no limitation on the amount of cash that can be introduced when arriving from abroad, but amounts greater than $10,000 (in cash, traveler's checks and money orders) must be declared using forms 6059B and FinCEN 105.
  7. With over 11 million illegals, i doubt they will have trouble disappearing into a system to aid and provide support Probably will not AOS, ROC or try for citizenship / Illegals have proven none of those are needed to stay here some states even allow medicaid and work
  8. Advice Find out what the pill is for /see a good dr and get a diagnosis Make sure she is getting the proper treatment There are several possible diagnoses associated with a lung spot, the most common causes are diseases such as pneumonia, tuberculosis, or cancer. Other potential diagnoses could be an infection such as bronchitis or pleurisy, or even something non-infectious like a tumor or a foreign body.
  9. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ Looks like projection times for Indy are 20 months to AOS for family Processing time for Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (I-485) at Indianapolis IN 80% of cases are complete 80%80% of cases are completed within of cases are completed within 20 Months d within
  10. How long does it take to get a credit score after getting SSN? It may take 3-6 months of reported activity to generate a credit score for a new resident. Individuals who receive a Social Security Number may request to have their credit history transferred to their SSN by contacting each credit bureau. From Capitol credit https://www.capitalone.com/creditwise/credit-score-after-immigration/ and this is a great question / u may want to check with your credit card company
  11. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/HCM-Ho-Chi-Minh-City.html From the embassy site The following persons may accompany a visa applicant to their interview: Applicants may bring ONE interpreter if they do not speak English or Vietnamese well enough to participate inan interview. Applicants may bring ONE person to help if they are elderly, disabled, or a minor child.
  12. An immigrant who obtains a green card is treated as a lawful permanent resident and is considered a U.S. tax resident for U.S. income tax purposes https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/tax-information-and-responsibilities-for-new-immigrants-to-the-united-states he is entitiled to all tax credits same as any USC Yes, there are several tax benefits available for immigrants, including the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) and the Child Tax Credit (CTC). These tax credits can help reduce your tax liability and increase your tax refund.Apr 6, 2023 No. Under current law, receiving the Child Tax Credit or other Federal tax credits that you are eligible for will not affect your immigration status, your ability to get a green card, or your future eligibility for immigration benefits.
  13. sorry missed that OP should look thru his personal paperwork for any document that he might have used needing SS# example - like for renewal of a F1 ? or a temporary state driving license as some states use the SS # work visa? SS # would be on paperwork W2 as he can apply for renewal online if he can find the # if ID fraud and someone used his SS# to file tax returns (it does happen more often then we know about) , then he will run into issues and he needs to correct sooner not later
  14. Before ticking anyting , make an appointment at SS office and get a new card
  15. Yes, they only mentioned the many persons who were in charge of this scheme What about the immigrants ? I realize what they all did was illegal but they were used i would like to see a follow up article when they all try to AOS after the fake US marriage
  16. when USCIS appoves the petition and it is sent to NVC, USCIS no longer has access as the case is not in that office u will get email with new embassy case # and can log into https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx when u hear from NVC
  17. If this occurs, u r married Couples will dress in clothes that make them feel like royalty on their big day, in a traditional African fashion called kente cloth, made of handwoven silk and cotton. For the occasion, it is often brightly colored and patterned or embroidered, along with gold jewelry to accent the attire. The bride may fashion her kente as a gown or into two separate pieces, a top and skirt, while the groom may wear his as a toga or wide-flowing rove called an Agbada. The bride also wears a traditional headdress that resembles a crown, called a tekua. Colors hold symbolic meaning for couples. For example, gold means wealth or royalty, pink means calmness and tenderness, blue represents the sky and means love, harmony and good peace, and maroon is protection from evil. And photos will be interrupted as "too married for a K1" marry properly and do the CR1 and avoid the AOS delays and costs of the K1 Cr1 would allow him to get SS #, DL and work in US upon arrival
  18. We did not have to sign for Adil's GC but i don't think the PO can forward it Do u have a responsible person to get your mail? if so, i would go that route
  19. You will add spouse to tax returns starting the process of comminling MFJ Is what i did according to IRS rules for nonreesident alien spouse giving me the additional tax break https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-spouse But u can do MFS and not worry about having a SS # or ITIN The ITIN allowed me to add my husband (still in Morocco ) to my checking account although he was not allowed a debit card till he entered the US Is commingling an issue? only if the country is high fraud but again affidavits are poor evidence /US family did not personally witness the marriage and foreign family addivats can not be legally enforced by definition a written statement confirmed by oath or affirmation, for use as evidence in court. If affidavits were important , we could write our own instead of producing a marriage certificate we could just say "I married in such and such a country"
  20. just be careful and if driving out of the state read a little about other state's laws I moved to Georgia and didn't know u had to stop for a funeral procession -on a divided 4 lane road coming opposite of me NY laws are strange like u have to drive with at least one hand on steering wheel and wear shoes Many of these laws are for insurance purposes and would be important if u were responsible for an accident school buses is a biggy as kids can get off and cross the road so hard lesson learned /there's a lot to take in Best to u in your new life in the US / stay warm
  21. Affidavits are rather used as its not the best evidence If a person did not witness the marriage, how would he/she know u r married? It is personal knowledge and if the person was not witness to the marriage , its not personal knowledge All affidavits need a notary signature if used but again, they are not needed unless USCIS asks for 1
  22. When i google it, this comes up Civil Documents - Immigrant Visa Process U.S. Department of State (.gov) https://travel.state.gov › step-7-collect-civil-documents Petitioner Documents. If you are applying for an IR5 visa as the parent of a ... documents: FINAL legal divorce decree, death certificate, or annulment papers.
  23. As of May 12, 2023, noncitizen nonimmigrant visitors to the U.S. arriving by air or arriving by land or sea no longer need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. https://www.usa.gov/covid-international-travel#:~:text=COVID-19 testing and vaccine, fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
