These are being sent out by county , state officials and both republican and democratic parties, trying to make sure people who are able to vote register and/or learn how to do it. Many people , believe it or not, don't know they need to register to vote or where there voting district is/ I get mail to vote for the mayor of city near me even though i don't live there and can't vote for the city mayor why send these out ? because some just don't get out and vote. Even with the last 2020 election that was so close , only 66% of the eligible voters turned out ignore it and do not register till u become a USC if that is your decision

when an immigrant says "my family is poor" or "there are no jobs here" automatically it should send up a red flag to a USC as the signal is given "i want to get out of here " that is why in poor countries CO's look at education and past work history I am going by my own experience with a K1 and what we all read daily on VJ. OP the best u can do to help is talk talk talk daily and let him know every little and big thing about u, ur family and ur life in the USA Quality time together to prove a real relationship really helps and a 10 day or 2 week vacation to meet is often suspect OP you have my prayers for the upcoming interview and for a good life together in the US

there is a yearly limit on EB2 visas issued so u wait on visa availability Approximately 40,000 EB2 visas will be given each year. Additionally, no more than 7% of EB2 visas can go to applicants from one country. This means that if you are a national of a country with many applicants, the wait to receive a visa will be longer.

How long was your visit? former post about high fraud countries this is what TBoneTX wrote While acknowledging Gary's true point, I believe that Diana's answer is the most accurate of several good replies here, si man. Earlier in my process, I asked an immigration attorney (who had served as a CO himself in Yemen and someplace in the Caribbean) the question that the OP has. He said, "Any poor country." Think about that. And my attorney said "all African countries "

IR-1 visa
JeanneAdil replied to Rabia ahmed's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Case Filing and Progress Reports
Looks like they want the original(s) and a copy. copies can be sent to USCIS and NVC but originals and English translations are taken to interview this will appear at CEAC site as refused until the embassy has what is needed and a decision is made https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx if they intend to approve, the embassy will ask for the passport -
those are good points as the CO looks at all those (although a Muslim man can marry Christainn or Jewish girl) check out the following for what issues are considered red flags https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html and add they also will want to know if the USC woman is of child bearing age as its important to have children in their culture

meanwhile please go to the portal and on timeline hit the moroc flag so your post will be in our portal and after u do whatever petition u decide, do a timeline this helps the VJ community answer any further questions u may come up with and there will be many if u do the K1 and have to AOS here in the USA
-
OP you will need the court disposition for the interview BUT why K1? for Moroc its the hardest to be assigned interview date and then the chances of approval are low Go the word portal and read the post from Laura and Hamza Biggest issue now with K1 is the new fees to adjust the status after the US marriage are to go up to just under $3000 (you can fly to Moroc and marry for that kind of money)/ You can add him next spring to 2024 tax returns as alien resident spouse giving u the double tax allowance. Many a denied K1 after waiting 2 years for interview return to Moroc and marry which happened to me For either visa you do need quality visits to Moroc to be together He will need a solid plan of what he will do in the US (work of study) this is only my opinion , of course, but the last stats for approved visas in Moroc show only 18 K1's approved while 39 CR1's and 74 IR1's were approved

Who receives NVC welcome letter?
JeanneAdil replied to Petersaad1's topic in IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures
USC gets the emails including when the interview is scheduled for the spouse visa -
3 senerios come to mind 1. big case of homesickness but that is no reason to not contribute to life in the US 2. he wanted to come to US and used your love to do it with no intention to make u happy/it was all about him and a US visa 3. He is completely dependent on u and he resents it. How will u know if the 2nd one is the case? Return to chats between the 2 of u/ did he always want to talk about visa and immigration issues and not romance? there are clues/ did u ever have feelings about him that should have served as a warning. there are too many Moroccans who want to get out of Moroc at any cost. If a Moroccan says "there are no jobs here" it means they don't have a high paying job as they often quit school so did he work when u met ? MY Adil always had a job and was supporting 11 family members and 2 houses Was he always on the cell when u were with him in Moroc? Is he looking for work here or letting u pay for the cell? Providing cell coverage is not an essential basic need. u are free to tell him "if u want to keep the cell coverage, get a job and pay for it" We must have food, water, air, and shelter to survive. If any one of these basic needs is not met, then humans cannot survive. Do yourself a favor and find something he really wants like to own a car, etc. let him know the total cost and tell him , he can have one but he has to work for it. BTW if he came on spouse visa or u did AOS (K1) and has the green card, he can divorce and do his own ROC and yes, you are responsible for the I 864 till he works 40 quarters or becomes a USC yeah, it is hard to leave all u know and move to another country but u have to set some standards now usually love will make 2 people compromise and rules don't need to be set and u can bring that up Tell him a marriage counselor is needed. if u can't discuss it here, u do need someone to talk to I gotta say that in the beginning (2 or 3 years) Adil was on the cell talking to family/friends most of the time it changed because lives changed on both sides/ friends married and others things happened . he kinda lost touch with many

lawyer is wrong you are responsible for the I 864 for 10 years page 13 of the I 864 instrucitons https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-864instr.pdf How Long Does My Obligation as a Sponsor Continue? Your obligation to support the immigrants you are sponsoring in this Affidavit of Support will continue until the sponsored immigrant becomes a U.S. citizen, or can be credited with 40 qualifying quarters of work in the United States. Although 40 qualifying quarters of work (credits) generally equates to 10 years of work, in certain cases the work of a spouse or parent adds qualifying quarters. The Social Security Administration can provide information on how to count qualifying quarters (credits) of work. The obligation also ends if you or the sponsored immigrant dies or if the sponsored immigrant ceases to be a lawful permanent resident. Divorce does not end the sponsorship obligation. And what can police do? they do have access to computers and Interpol they do respect another country's arrest warrant they hold the person while the country gets extradition order
