You will need to show the 2 of you have started to commingle assets to have a strong case like filing joint tax returns sending her a POA so she can sign the return in your name
  2. CO at embassy needs to see evidence and u can not attend the interview Your name on her birth certificate??? BTW there are lots of USC"S with same last name as mine and i am not related to them hope her trip is fun and rewarding
  3. when will the house be sold? before I 134 ? or after u get the K1 visa? then can not be used for assets for K1
  4. USC should be here to ask the questions Because the assets of a trust are no longer the property of the trustor, a creditor can not not come after them to satisfy debts of the trustor trust are created to protect the money from either inhertance taxes , probate or creditors (in this case USCIS) Does she get a monthly, quarterly or annual check from the trust which can be counted as income?
  5. Children under 18 may need a Letter of Consent to travel internationally without both parents. the main concern at embassy interview and at CBP here in the states is human trafficking and the need to protect those most vulnerable/ this is a concern for embassy to approve even if she turns 18
  6. check requirements for F1 https://studyinthestates.dhs.gov/guide/f-1/f-1-english-language-training but understand there are online courses AND F1 requires student to return home If you have maintained your status and finished a program of study and do not transfer to another SEVP-certified school, you have a 60-day grace period to depart from the United States. Failure to depart within this grace period could adversely impact your ability to re-enter the United States under a different nonimmigrant or immigrant classification.
  7. congratulations on the naturalization !!! and thanks for completing the timeline
  8. State DL (or learner's permit) or State ID with same address as yours /apply sending photo of NOT OFFICAL wedding in her country may not be a good idea /it will appear as though you should have gone CR1 other photos an even plane tickets don't prove a marriage and living together wills naming the other as bene adding bene's name to deed or lease adding bene to utility bill adding bene to a credit card showing u as primary debtor
  9. you can email or call during the hours to request it Traveling now will add to the AP to investigate this additional travel
  10. when sending addtional documents for a 221 (or RFE) u need to put the case #, both names and both DOB's on each paper CO's have a stack of work in inbox and to get your doucments to the right case #, the CO will need the above info or all can be lost in a paper shuffle in someone's inbox Hope that info helps expect a long AP for the additional security checks (CEAC site will say refused till the decision is made)
  11. If USCIS has a good algorithm, the process dates would change daily depending on cases coming in and going out of any office including those that are transfered to another facility A good computer algorithm would include info like what staff is out for any reason and all the holidays right now the timeframe should go down as we are done with the holidays from Thanksgiving to Presidents day(that's a lot of office time off ) timeframes will soon go up as petitions increase in the summer months with people traveling to meet and /or marry I watch the site called number of service-wide forms to date put out for each quarter which shows # of each type of petition , # approved, # denied and those pending U filed in March 2023 and at that time there were 1,918,709 pending CR1's and 57,295 K1's along with all the other visa categories which total 8,875,675 pending in US offices and now USCIS is dealing with almost 1 million asylum cases and the number of those has exploded in 2023 USCIS is crazy for stats and charts and not on keeping us informed we pay for US offices to keep Congress informed with charts and stats and we are in the dark on our own progress for a petition
  12. you are using LND2024xxxxx # ? it will be listed when imputed into the system as immigrant/ Why? who knows
  13. From USCIS and needed documents for immigrant spouse visa https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html Are 16 years old or older Lived in your country of nationality for more than 6 months at any time in your life Your country of nationality Are 16 years old or older Have lived in your country of current residence (if different from nationality) for more than 6 months Your country of current residence
  14. not the 1st address instructions say Start with where you live now
  15. Follow the instructions Part 5. Information About Your Residence List every address where you have lived during the last 5 years (including other countries) prior to filing your Form N-400. Start with where you live now, and then include the dates for each place you have lived in a month, day, and year format (mm/dd/yyyy). For example, type or print May 1, 1998 to June 1, 1999 as 05/01/1998 to 06/01/1999. Provide your mailing address if it is different from your current address. Provide “In Care Of Name” information, if applicable. If you do not have a State or Province, enter the name of your city again in that box. If you do not have a ZIP or Postal Code, enter “00000” in the ZIP or Postal Code box.

  20. sorry the exclusion is for foreign income for the alien spouse on the 2555 form
  21. Tax services want to process online returns as that is easy and done with fast to file MFJ you have to file paper as you need to send in the requested original documents to prove marriage and ID of the alien and file the W7 form for spouse's ITIN with form 2555 to exclude For tax year 2023, the maximum exclusion is $120,000 per person. Standard deduction for 2023 for MFJ is worth it to me For 2023, the standard deduction increased to $27,700 for married couples filing jointly, follow IRS to file either MFS or MFJ https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-spouse Filing MFS or MFJ is not hard /i did it for my spouse in Morocco back in 2010 tax season
  22. Russia what embassy did she interview? not annoying to send message once a month/ i would do it once a week
