South Africa Children's Act there are 3 types of custody you would need the father's permission if shared or joint custody is determined Even if u r granted sole custody , the father can be granted visitation rites and u may not be able to take them out of SA All this is up to the court https://www.bartermckellar.law/family-law-explained/understanding-child-custody-and-visitation-rights-in-south-african-divorce-proceedings#:~:text=Child custody%2C now referred to,joint custody and shared custody. Sole Custody: One parent is given primary responsibility for the child. This is usually awarded when the other parent is deemed unfit or it is in the child’s best interest.

Can I re-marry my ex-wife?
JeanneAdil replied to Okegiftgift's topic in What Visa Do I Need - Family Based Immigration
remarry and file I 130 for wife and one for each of your children embassy interview will have questions about "why the divorce?" she needs to answer honestly Do u currently live in USA? married 7 years to USC and then divorced should not interfer with the remainder of your life But there are countries that practice "leaving family behind and marrying USC and then divorcing to bring former wife/gf to US so knowing the country and what the embassy has seen in the past is important -
Even flying to Bahamas would affect an order to stay local and your disability claim/don't mess with it Remain faithful and keep communication open and fly to meet after the claim is settled Basically K1 or CR1 you face the same need(s) we all do to prove the relationship is real Meeting and time spent together to really know a person is a big factor for the Casa embassy for all couples Use the search bar above (on right ) and inquiry about other MENA countries and members going thru the process /I remember one one Benin and anther from Egypt / check their posts, timelines and embassy reviews

its important to prove the Moroccan family agrees and supports the union especially his mom and u plan to fly to Bahamas??? why not Moroc? Back injury makes all u do hard but doesn't prevent flying Spouse visa or K1 will take about 18 +/- years so you can't hurry the process thru online marriage you plan to be out of military by then so him working will not be as important immigration does accept vetern's disability or SSDI but check the provety guideline limits for sponsorship

Agree First thank u for your service don't try online marriage if u can not meet after and consummate the marriage in Morocco/that is a definite requirement Utah zoom is the marriage Immigration accepts that i know about you do need to meet without knowing how much annual time off u have (2.5 days per # of years in service) and where u r stationed, it may be, at this time, hard to get to Moroc U may need to continue the relationship as it and accumulate enough time to fly in and out of Moroc to meet in person to file the K1 I would think K1 is the best way to go for Moroc He can try for tourist visa to meet with u but they are difficult for a single man in moroc to get but its worth a try U say u met his family and he met yours ??? u mean online meetings? It still would be very important to have photos of u with Mroroccan family to show they approve of the relationship as it is for any K1 or CR1 at the Casa embassy I don't usually advise K1 over CR1 as the bene can not work till AOS which begs the question "Where are u stationed and how would he interview for the AOS process if not in the US? What branch of service? as it could mean u are stationed on ship or out of country? Even my Marine Corp son was deployed to a Navy ship and the wife could not go. As Military you need to think past the K1 issued visa and how u will handle the remaining process(es)

very little info from the embassy site they do post this message /BTW the travel.state.gov site they post for updates says the site can not be found The U.S. Embassy in Amman is currently processing a limited number of immigrant visa cases. While the Embassy aims to process cases as soon as possible, there will be increased wait times due to a substantial backlog. For worldwide operating status updates please see travel.state.gov.

he's 23 now and would have been 18+/- when he went in lack of any former education or job skills/ factory work may be possible if he can pass drug tests just be careful BTW my sister says many prisons make the inmate prove they have a job outside in order to get parole/ she works North Carolina as parole officer in prison most inmates learn the wrong things/ like how to better at crime / how to do ID theft is a popular subject in many US jails Sorry as i am not judging him as he was young and the worst happened /just know what and why and talk to his family /see if he still has their support as he will need it

Brother and sister both in law enforcement and prison life is rough You can do a search http://kool.corrections.ky.gov/ that's the Kentucky offender lookup You can also search court records to see ALL his arrests and convictions it may help to know his prison ID or SS #. Visits in Kentucky prison are scheduled if u r on visitor list (HInt: u should be able to view who else is on that list /I would check for other females) visits are for 1 hour with possible 1 hour extension read the site I sent as it says it all
