  2. u seem to think that ignoring Canadian laws is ok in the US it is not I can not help u as there are things u can do to help the situation and u r not willing to do them God i wish more people would watch the National geographic stories and those on youtube about immiggration fraud and how all is reported on computer to interpol if your sister-in-law comes and thinks to AOS here just WoW at this can of worms Either report the SOB or get yourself out of this situation all together i am out too
  3. that is useless and it can hurt by showing strong ties to the US u need to catch up on immigration rules and laws
  4. if u can not interfere why are u asking what to do on this site Do the right thing (per law) u know of an infraction so turn him in he's a crook (u said) , don't help him and u r if u don't tell authorities what u know it actually makes u an accessory Ur sister-in-law will look like she assisted in this false document and not sure why she allowed this to happen but turning u him in will show who is at fault i feel for u trying to straighten out offical paperwork from another country and good luck to u

  8. if health care is thru the job, then yes -after marriage as it is a life altering change in family check with HR In most cases, adding a spouse to your health insurance plan is acceptable. After getting married, you usually have up to 60 days to enroll in a new plan, or add your spouse as a dependent.Oct 6, 2022

  14. we all know immigration is slow but expect it to slow down even more this time of year We will hit the long 4 day weekend for Thanksgiving, then Christmas , then NY's day US offices here plus Holiday closures in embassies tend to make this this slowest for all timelines also , understand that many offices in the US tell employees that have not used this year's vacation time to "use it by end of year or loose it" which doesn't help any of u waiting check your embassy for US and country specific holiday closures to give u a better idea of what u r facing/ they are posted in each embassy webpage also we go into the new year and if it looks like your interview will happen after the tax date, get those 2022 1040's filled out ASAP keeping copies of W2 any 1099,or 1099rR and the 1040 fpr the interview as getting IRS transcripts gets harder when they have not yet processed your returns Advice from one who waited long for all this to happen the very best to u all in this Holiday season
