  3. any trouble in Tunis because customs does not want to let u out, call the US embassy as u r now a US citizen and always keep a copy of the US passport and NOTE they cant take it from u / they can look at in / look in their system/ take u to customs for baggage check but they can't keep u from leaving the country unless u have a warrant out for your arrest in Tunisia and i would think since u had to provide a clean criminal report, that won't be an issue
  4. Go online as there are several listed to translate your documents in both cities-sorry but i don't know the lady in Casa that did ours as we had to turn in all copies- i do know i needed 6 copies of all mine and his / this is the most expensive part of the marriage process
  5. https://www.uscis.gov/tools/how-do-i-guides/us-citizens/how-do-i-obtain-an-authenticated-copy-of-a-certificate-of-naturalization You do not need to obtain a Certified True Copy if the U.S. government asks for a copy of your certificate for official U.S. government business US embassy is offical US government business
  6. Immigration handles cases in several countries now that are going thru political upheavels even when the US embassy is closed which is not the case in Peru as said above it may be harder to get police clearances and/or original documents like birth certificates i would work at getting those now as it could take time /Lima , itself , has always made it hard to navigate the system with its 43 districts each with its own mayor and council. i remember i had to change taxis in the city just because taxis can't all go from one district to another all these restrictions add to the difficulty of the process but it has nothing to do with the US embassy and immigration / that process remains the same
  7. https://en.as.com/latest_news/unemployment-benefits-are-green-card-holders-eligible-for-payment-n/ being fired is the fault of the green card holder it is not same as laid off or job cuts
  8. is the job related to any US government contract?
  9. I suggest u speak frankly with your wife now and tell her your feelings and listen to hers Where does she think her parents will live? with You? Is she willing to have an outside job to pay the petition fees and support them? this is a lot to handle if u don't agree but don't do something that u are not comfortable doing for 2022 file MFS

  13. Basically u answered your own question Filed for divorce. Didn't finalize it So, now that first marriage is finalize, u can marry but at this time , u r not
  14. if the I 864's are the current forms, then you are set
  15. Georgia https://dds.georgia.gov/information-non-us-citizenshttps://dds.georgia.gov/information-non-us-citizens Must provide proof of having requested an extension for time to remain lawfully within the United States by presenting an original I-797C Notice of Action and expired immigration documents.

  17. no one can answer without knowing who did I 864 and who did I 864EZ Did they send the IRS tax transcripts to u with the I 864 and joint sponsor's I 864(EZ) ? u need original of these and tax documents to support them
  18. Create a timeline and ID the country/embassy and u will get answers from members dealing with that embassy otherwise it doesn't make sense as spouse visa gets a letter but K1 schedules interview and without a letter to schedule
  19. you do not mention the country so go to following site for tourist wait times for an interview https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html
