  1. If he has the documents needed to marry as a birth certificate, then marry and send ALL forms to adjust (as listed in the guides above) and keep the elevated above the elbow /that's how i got thru it
  2. PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF MARRIAGE CERTIFICATES. For instance, if you require a marriage certificate for use in a foreign jurisdiction (including obtaining a passport from a US-based foreign consulate) you need an extended form which costs $35 for the initial copy and $30 for any additional copies. For most domestic purposes, you will need a short form which costs $15 for the initial copy and $10 for any additional copies. If you are unsure of the form of marriage certificate you need, records for marriage in NYS are kept by the county clerk u married in i sent USCiS the short form to show marriage to my late husband long form is for your country

  9. they do not send interview letters till the embassy says to send them / that's the way NVC and the embassy work together for the CR1 interview K1 is different as NVC only assigns a case # s and sends that packet to embassy and the interview is scheduled by petitioner or bene don't confuse the 2 when the embassy is ready, they will notify NVC with open interview date and u will receive notice of that with instructions for the original documents bene needs to bring /u should check those out on USCIS site as so many times a case goes into AP (extended processing ) because a document is needed / those are listed on following site https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/family-immigration/immigrant-visa-for-spouse.html#:~:text=Bring your original civil documents,to your immigrant visa interview.
  10. the wait now is for the embassy to send notice to NVC that an interview can be scheduled/ u will be in queue

  18. NVC says it is https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing/helpful-hints-iv-processing.html look to lower subject under I would like to contact NVC to keep my immigrant case active. How do I keep my NVC case active? To keep your case active, do not let more than one year pass without contacting NVC. To do so, you can submit fees and/or documents through the Consular Electronic Application Center (CEAC), https://ceac.state.gov/iv.
  19. the date of the medical exam determines the visa he must travel within 6 months of the medical exam If your case is not yet at NVC , chances are slim to interview in the summer of 2023 (although we saw one Moroccan member move quite fast with this process so it could happen) allah yekbel just keep a copy of your 2022 tax returns and the W2 to take to moroc as IRS is so slow and the IRS returns may not be available by interview time US embassy Casa has a complete list of all documents needed for the spouse interview https://ma.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visa/the-interview/
  20. i took that info from previous post u made saying a lawyer told u to AOS and bond is not easier nor cheap The i 134 is not enforceable but when you AOS it is so u need 125% of poverty level income and no, i would not take on financial responsibility for someone i do not know https://fam.state.gov/fam/09fam/09fam030208.html Read the above to understand public charge issues and the following dated December 2022 https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/policy-manual-updates/20221219-PublicChargeFinalRule.pd What i find on bond is CO can offer it to those seeking a tourist visa that may overstay the visa and AOS Program is designed to apply to nationals of specified countries with high overstay rates to serve as a diplomatic tool to encourage foreign governments to take all appropriate actions to ensure their nationals timely depart the United States after making temporary visits. The Pilot Program will run for six months. During that period, consular officers may require nonimmigrant visa applicants falling within the scope of the Pilot Program to post a bond in the amount of $5,000, $10,000, or $15,000 as a condition of visa issuance. The amount of the bond, should a bond be appropriate, will be determined by the consular officer based on the circumstances of the visa applicant.
  21. did the tumor show up in chest xray? if TB treatment would be needed before visa is issued Tuberculous infection of the long bones can mimic benign tumors or locally aggressive tumors like giant cell tumors and at times even malignant tumors like osteogenic sarcoma or chondrosarcomas.May 28, 2020
  22. our Algerian friend (here in the US) had the letter of exemption as one leg is shorter than other he says his wife sent it in with CEAC supporting documents and he took original to interview but the CO never asked to see it so , who knows, if the CO who does interview is Algerian hire by embassy , they may consider it important if the CO is USC maybe not as important when u call the embassy , u don't get the person who knows about interviews / that's why u need to do the contact form
  23. Good advise as if he comes after your 2nd anniversary (september of 2023) he gets the 10 year green card and since u are not yet to NVC, its a good possibility
