  2. Since u r going to Moroc in the next few months , marry there and then there will be no problem with consummating the marriage i say this as its hard to be alone in Moroc with intended spouse if no marriage certificate and the lawyers disagree about the word consummate all the following say secual intercourse is the consummation so, as etrangais points out "its important to be legal in moroc " or famlly will not allow and no hotel would rent a room to u as a couple/ actually against the law Article 490 of the Penal Code criminalizes pre-marital sex. https://www.law.cornell.edu/wex/consummation#:~:text=In the context of marriage, for divorce or an annulment https://www.oxfordreference.com/display/10.1093/oi/authority.20110803095634415;jsessionid=58173BEC849C959A4EE4D44801462C0F https://legal-dictionary.thefreedictionary.com/consummation+of+marriage One law site said different but i can't remember which one / it said all that was needed was to be in same place together (that was a fairly course interpretation) but i wouldn't fool around with a Moroccan born CO at interview / they do sometimes ask "have u slept with the other person?"

  5. It will be up to CO to either accept copy of your 1040 with your letter that shows your US job has started with yearly salary
  6. i get called in every state (city ) i lived in even when i was attending college Owing a large tax bill to IRS could be a good reason not to naturalize or thinking there is a warrant out for your arrest (even not going to court for a simple traffic ticket can trigger a warrant) not wanting your name or photo in news for the Oath ceremony as an ex is looking for u But to add to this "i have thought to get citizenship in Morocco as Adil's wife so i could own a summer home" anyone going this way too?
  7. Although the IRS transcripts are needed , it your company is not US based and the income is foreign income, it will not be considered the letter u provided of the US job with start date and income will have more weight
  8. the October 2022 case that charged and convicted the mastermind of a group scheme also prosecuted the quility marriage partners/ different outcomes for individual cases as some USC's thought they were just on a dating site
  9. how small is small loans at least u know the interest rate from hater of credit cards I have one for a well known home improvement center i stupidly used it $900 owed / monthly statement said i had to pay $29 and first month i paid $50 they added $20 for interest OMG if i paid 29 and they add 20 , this would never be paid off so, i paid the whole bill the 2nd month i think we should all have one open card for real emergencies but more than 5 hurts your credit
  10. All the following is on the ICE site https://www.ice.gov/sites/default/files/documents/Document/2016/marriageFraudBrochure.pdf Penalties An individual will be charged with marriage fraud if they entered into a marriage for the purpose of evading U.S. immigration law. This felony offense carries a prison sentence of up to five years and a fine of up to $250,000, and applies to both foreign nationals and U.S. citizens who perpetrate this crime. As it should Background Marriage fraud is a threat to U.S. national security, financial institutions and the integrity of the immigration system. Marriage fraud investigations conducted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) have revealed massive schemes that involve complex criminal organizations. Neither victimless nor limited in scope, the crime of marriage fraud is anything but a trivial matter. Engaging in this fraud and trading America’s security for financial gain is a felony with serious crime Further Consequences U.S. citizens who enter into fraudulent marriages assume great personal liability. The foreign spouse may gain access to sensitive, personal information including, but not limited to, bank accounts, safe deposit boxes, retirement and investment accounts, personal identity information, and family heirlooms. Terrorists and other criminals can use marriage fraud as a vehicle to enter the United States, often due to the willingness of U.S. citizens to participate in marriage fraud schemes. They can then hide their identity, gain unlawful employment, access government buildings, and open bank accounts and businesses to conduct further criminal activity. Participants in marriage fraud may, knowingly or unknowingly, be aiding terrorists, foreign intelligence or other criminal organizations, and will be held accountab And is taken very seriously (usually) and they should have fined and/or jailed her there have been cases concerning several groups the latest in Houston and the mastermind got 10 years in prison as he or anyone should (my thoughts on all this) https://www.ice.gov/news/releases/mastermind-behind-massive-marriage-fraud-conspiracy-sentenced-10-years-prison
  11. credit is based on debt-to-income ratio so if you have several credit cards (even if nothing is owed, they look at the amount allowed on the card) compared to income you need at least a year of US income to have a credit score , good payment history on rent helps 1. rent or mortgage instead of credit cards 2. buying a car as it is collateral (if u can' buy when 1st in US, u probably can lease Your income and employment history are good indicators of your ability to repay outstanding debt. Income amount, stability, and type of income may all be considered. The ratio of your current and any new debt as compared to your before-tax income, known as debt-to-income ratio (DTI), may be evaluated.
  12. they new instructions changed this they have to prove they can liquidate it in a year (how someone does this i have no idea ) but it can be used under the old I 864 instructions we couldn't use our primary residence

  18. Abigail, Casa is only hard on cases that they expect are fraud (or suspicious ) The man being older by only a few years is hardly like the young men marrying older women The time spent with him is a big asset / make sure you include copy of boarding passes with your petition and keep future ones for him to take to his interview the unemployment will have no effect either way having additional education after Baccalaureate (high school degree in Morocco) is a big plus Make sure his divorce papers are all in order with needed court stamps and signature(s) When u go to marry , photos of u and family (especially his mom ) are important don't go overboard with photos / around 20 is plenty / i put 3 on 8 x 11 sheet to send in and wrote ID's under each photo with month and year all 3 years don't have to be poverty level or above and u have 2 years to get that amount up to the standards but still lining up the joint sponsor is a great plan/will not affect your application Casa hard -plenty make it thru the process with no issues don't enclose any proofs with your petition that u send money to him BUT its great to have him take English courses even if it costs u Have him take driving classes in Morocco as its a lot cheaper than cost here Everything you need to know to marry in Morocco is on the following site/ the expensive part is the translation of your documents to Arabic ($10 a page can be normal -6 copies of each one) and the travel there and around to Casa, Rabat and back to his city https://ma.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/local-resources-of-u-s-citizens/marriage-information/

  21. husband requires CR1 and 125% of poverty level (at the least) Did he include all the proofs for the value of the property which would include: appraised value -bu licensed appaiser ? and all of the following? You may include the net value of your home as an asset. The net value of the home is the appraised value of the home, minus the sum of any and all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. If you wish to include the net value of your home, then you must include documentation demonstrating that you own it, a recent appraisal by a licensed appraiser, and evidence of the amount of any and all loans secured by a mortgage, trust deed, or other lien on the home. sounds like a joint sponsor is a good idea Please do a timeline on your profile and ID the country
