  4. If u want to post your opinion to USCIS about the fee changes , hit the site i posted and the yellow box to the right to let them know your thoughts (till March 6, 2023) but understand all the changes Read thru the REAL proposal like the forms I-129 will be split into different classes like K1 and worker / hope this is a help as some questions on forms don't seem to fit the class we apply for AND things like this USCIS will impose an additional $600 fee on all Form I-129 and Form I-140 petitions, which are the employment-based immigration forms used to sponsor foreign nationals for temporary and permanent employment. This fee is above and beyond the filing fee increases associated with these forms and will be used to fund the USCIS asylum program.
  5. the book (over 500 pages of the registry ) makes it unclear / its quite a read as there will be additional forms to fill out now when before we just sent in a request From the other December 2022 read, it will not be necessary to file I 90 if the immigrant files for naturalization 6 months before the 10 year card expires but i am reading the federal registry again as the description of some forms and fees are strange I 751 says "to move conditions and in earlier text in the registry calls 10 year green card (conditional LPR) and I 90 says to "replace permanent card" in it it said there would be a change in the way 10 year green card was renewed and mentioned the I 751 was a possibility BUT i found this"from December 2022 This update (PDF, 307.54 KB) is expected to help naturalization applicants who experience longer processing times, because they will receive an extension of lawful permanent resident (LPR) status and may not need to file Form I-90, Application to Replace Permanent Resident Card (Green Card). LPRs who properly file Form N-400, Application for Naturalization, may receive this extension without regard to whether they filed Form I-90. USCIS will update the language on Form N-400 receipt notices to extend Green Cards for up to 24 months for these applicants. The receipt notice can be presented with the expired Green Card as evidence of continued status as well as identity and employment authorization under List A of Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9), if presented before the expiration of the 24-month extension period provided in the notice.
  6. $1195 is the new fee If filed before the March deadline it is as follows The filing fee for Form I-751 is $595. A biometric services fee of $85 is also required for petitioners.

  15. 1st of all USCIS says take photo s to the interview but never has any member said CO looked at them CO's have even asked for further documentation to be sent in (221g) when the immigrant had it at the interview but the officer wouldn't look at it Next depending on the country like ours, i had an engagement party / it was just ladies of the family Any engagement party in countries from nations in Africa often is viewed as wedding celebration after the actual marriage especially if the couple is dressed in "look alike outfits" as the actual marriage is often done by signing a contract so, best to file the paperwork to register the marriage and go CR 1 BTW years ago a K1 person was refused entry as the CBP officer noticed her ring finger was not tan like the rest of her hand
