1st if you and spouse have prepared good solid evidence of the relationship and have spent quality time together, there is no reason to stress over this Stress symptoms can affect your body, your thoughts and feelings, and your behavior. Knowing common stress symptoms can help you manage them. Stress that's not dealt with can lead to many health problems, such as high blood pressure, heart disease, stroke, obesity and diabetes the following activities will help control the stress Get regular physical activity on most days of the week. Practice relaxation techniques. Try deep breathing, meditation, yoga, tai chi or massage. Keep a sense of humor. Spend time with family and friends (my add talk online and encourage each other while waiting . this is suppose to be a time of romance) Set aside time for hobbies. Read a book, listen to music or go for a walk. Schedule time for your passions. Write in a journal. Get enough sleep. Eat a healthy, balanced diet. Stay away from tobacco and alcohol use, and use of illegal substances. there is a good site that tells red flag issues but mostly the immigrant needs to know every little and big thing about the USC during interview, keep your answers short and do not elaborate by going into long detail, and don't let the interview stress u out bless u both

Tax Filing Options while waiting for I-130
JeanneAdil replied to mnelove97's topic in Tax & Finances During US Immigration
File 1040x to amend this You could have requested INTN to file MFJ but now IRS only allows USC to claim nonresident for 1 year so may not be worth it to u but u need to file as married as u r married and are not single https://www.irs.gov/individuals/international-taxpayers/nonresident-aliens Tax preparers are often poorly trained with limited knowledge of the complete system or do not follow up each year with classes for the new rules/ its obvious your preparer didn't know how to complete your taxes properly and gave u bad advice -

I am so sorry u have gone thru all this and my journey so i do understand the frustration but u must accept what was decided at embassy level from CO's who best know the country to be considered a terrorist he would have been either reported by other county men or under the watch eye of ADF This is why Violent extremist organizations from northern Benin and Burkina Faso are increasingly targeting northern Togo as conflicts from the Sahel spill into coastal countries. https://adf-magazine.com/2024/07/terror-attacks-increase-in-togo-as-sahel-extremists-encroach/ DOJ takes the info given out by the African Defense forum as serious and does not solely rely on documents we provide. Africa Defense Forum (ADF) magazine is published quarterly by U.S. Africa Command to provide an international forum for African security professionals. ADF magazine spans all 54 countries of the African continent, with feature articles on topical security issues such as counter terrorism strategies, civil-military relations, professionalism, transnational crime, and all other issues affecting peace, stability, and good governance. -
only need the permanent home address college is temporary residence and not your address /you return to home after each semester and consider this your permanent residence u can fill out the additional info for college on a blank paper but really not needed "i asked attorney about this as when i 1st applied i stayed 4 months in Pa while my brother had lung transplant and he said "home is home" hospital or rehab don't count; staying at hotel or vacation rental doesn't count, college dorm or apartment is only temporary and not permanent address"

1st you need to understand that as a USC now, you have to use the US passport to leave and enter the US you may find out ICE took spouse complaint seriously (if spouse submitted good evidence) when you go thru security and try to get boarding pass at airport also, it is not just u but your spouse that would be in trouble as your spouse did a lot of documents for evidence to get your visa and all the other steps so both of u would face issues The penalties for marriage fraud under U.S. law include jail time, fines, deportation, and a tarnished immigration record. Both the U.S. citizen and the immigrant spouse can face these penalties.

VISA PENDING ORIGINAL DIVORCE DECREE
JeanneAdil replied to pamdal's topic in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures
sending to USCIS is not wanted / that should have been copy the embassy wants it and to go any further with the case , u have to do what the embassy says the document you sent may not be with the package the embassy received ''just trying to help u to do what Casa wants During your visa interview, the consular officer will determine whether you must obtain the missing document before a visa can be issued. As a general rule, any document that is listed as “available” on the country-specific guidelines must be reviewed by a consular officer. Failure to obtain all required documents will delay your case. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-5-collect-financial-evidence-and-other-supporting-documents/step-7-collect-civil-documents.html -

You need to return to home country as u did not complete term of the J visa if you did not complete your J visa program, you must leave the United States within the designated timeframe, which is typically 30 days after the program end date on your DS-2019 form; if you do not complete the program, you may not be entitled to this grace period and may need to depart immediately depending on the reason for non-completion and your sponsor's instructions. After the completing home country's obligations , u can apply tourist visa Understand you did not comply with 1 US visa, so chances you will be approved for new 1 is slim
