  1. I had my interview today. It was straightforward and quick! I applied under the 3-year rule with a pending I-751. My I-751 was approved right away because my spouse was with me. Then the officer took my fingerprints and started the test. He asked: Name three of the 13 original colonies. What did the Declaration of Independence do? Who is the Governor of your state? What did the Emancipation Proclamation do? If the President can no longer serve, who becomes the President? How many amendments does the Constitution have? Then, he asked me to read the question, “Who was the first President?” and write the answer on the tablet “Washington was the first President.” Finally, he told me that my application had been approved. He said that they’re doing four ceremonies every week, so it’s likely that mine will be scheduled soon. Best of luck, everyone. FO Tampa, FL.
  2. My interview was scheduled for Feb 10th
  3. What is your office? I haven't heard from them yet, either. I'm in Tampa and applied in early August with a pending I-751. Tampa's processing time is ~9 months, so honestly, I'm not expecting to get something from them until around February/March, though it's very frustrating.
  4. same thing happened here. it might be an automated tool, which is frustrating because it creates high expectations (and frustration lol)
  5. I think it really depends on your local office and under what rule you applied for. For example, my local office received fewer applications in Q3 than in Q2 and has fewer pending applications. However, it might take me longer to receive an interview date because I was an early filler under the 3-year rule, whereas they will process a case faster for someone who applied and is already eligible to take the oath. But it's all my guess based on what I think makes sense lol
  6. I just submitted my application. I received the Receipt Notice and Biometric Reuse notification right away. The website's timeline says the process will take 7 months for the Tampa (FL) office. Hopefully, it will take less time. Good luck, yall.
  7. What is your office? Was there any progress on your I-751? I can apply for citizenship in August. Counting the days here...
