I am a US citizen and petitioner for my wife Immigrant visa.
Case listed as administrative processing, My wife interview with the U.S consulate in Cairo Egypt was on October 21st, 2018.
After the interview at the U.S consulate on October 21, 2018 they required her to renew the medical examination Because it was going to expire a month later, than email the embassy all family information along with her previous travels, and than mail the new medical report and passport through prepaid Aramix mailing service to the US embassy which was completed on October 28, 2018.
Its been 9 months and without receiving any feedback from the consulate office and her passport still at thier position.
The approval notice from USCIS Receipt number was approved on December 18th 2017 case type I-130 petition for alien relative, priority date 02/02/2017.
At this point We are running out of patience, I do understand legal and immigration paperwork takes a long time but this has been Very stressful And time consuming for no reason While keeping our family living apart.
we have so many questions, Why is her case under administrative processing? When will it be completed? Any documents needed?
