Hi y'all, I'm about to become a US citizen and I'm looking at the list of things I have to do after that. I saw that we have to update the DMV after naturalization. How is that done in Texas? What documents should I bring besides the naturalization certificate? Do I get a new driver's license? Under what category should I request the appointment online ?

I brought with me all evidence I have of our marriage : - All of our tax return transcripts - All of our leases - Bank statements since we got married - Our plane tickets, hotel reservations together - Health insurance card with both our names on it - Car notice with both our names - Photos of us since we got married - Holiday Letters addressed to both of us showing our home address Bring any extra evidence of your marriage with you preferably since y'all got married. The IO asked me questions about our marriage : when did we first meet, where ? What's my husband's name, dob, job.. When they saw the amount of evidence I had, we passed to the civics and English questions, very easy just study the 100 questions. My oath ceremony is scheduled 3 weeks out. You will know as soon as they upload it on your account, if you'll be out of the country, you'll need to call them so they can change the date

I also just had my N-400 interview last week no combo interview. The IO went through my marriage evidence and said that he approved that it's a bonafide marriage. I passed civics and English. He handed me the document saying I passed my tests but a decision cannot be made yet. He said someone else has my i751 and it would be done by the end of the day. But Nothing changed on my account status. Still say application received for i751 and interview scheduled for N400

The IO stated that he didn't have evidence and showed me stuff from my K1, despite having sent lot of evidence of bonafide marriage for both applications. Luckily I brought evidence with me and gave it to him. He said that he approved that it is a bonafide marriage. I passed civics and English, the IO handed me the document saying I passed but a decision cannot be made yet. He said that someone else is working on my I-751 and it would be done by the end of the day, then I'll get my oath scheduled. Nothing changed on my status so far, did anyone have a similar experience?

What documents should we take with us to the interview that are not listed in the n400 interview notice?

How were you able to get the same day interview? Did you request it ?
