We met in 2003 when I we were both volunteering in a program in USA. After that year together we had two years apart with him working and returning to grad school in NYC and me returning to England to do post grad teacher training. After two years of flying across the atlantic every holiday we decided it was enough. Too difficult for him to move here, and me to move there, we found teaching positions in Honduras where we could be together. There he proposed to me and we began excitedly planning our future. I returned to England for the interview, then returned to NY so we can finally be together again!
