Not in 2021, but I did get help in 2020.  A lot depends on the assistance you are seeking.  In my case the Embassy in Manila made a series of mistakes that were very obvious and would not respond to my inquiries.  Senator Cruz got involved and the issue was resolved  immediately and the Visa was issued.  Complaints about long processing times and similar issues most likely will not be of interest to your congressperson/senator

We experienced the same thing and the problem turned out to be an AKA NBI.  For us this resulted in a disaster that took over 18 months to correct with COVID and ST. Lukes presenting obstacles at every turn.  The frustrating part is the lack of communication with the Embassy.  Let's hope that your administrative processing is a simple and easily correctable matter.

If you have a situation where clearly a mistake was made during the processing and neither  USCIS or the Consulate are cooperative, Senate involvement can work.   It worked for me.

PWB got a reaction from MrsAb2021 in Hidden cost of processing a K1 Visa
Recently we were knocked backwards on the processing of our Adjustment of Status.  As you are aware the initial cost for the processing of the AOS  is $1225.00 USD.  What is not as well known is the cost  of processing the I-693, that document, which is seldom discussed here on VJ,  proved to be very costly,  We originally paid in excess of $450,00 for the first I-693, but to our surprise after our AOS interview we receive a  poorly written RFE requiring that we submit a new I-693.  This second I-693 cost over $850.00.   Not only the money, but up to a 90 day delay in processing the AOS.  All of this through no fault of our own.  When you are wondering if a K-1 is for you, or a CR-I would work better you need to consider the cost and frustration of K-1 processing.

Having been through the Sputum game 3 times I can tell you once SLEC tags you with the three day ordeal most likely the 8 week culture test follows.  Need to get this behind you before attending an interview, no physical no visa.

When you post extreme personal issues on VJ you will get beat up by some of these experts.  I was 75 and my wife 50 and we have a wonderful relationship.  I forgive her with all my heart that she can not keep up with me.  Just saying that there are a bunch of quality ladies in the Philippines over 50 years old.

PWB got a reaction from Redro in What is an effective way to file a complaint against NVC and U.S embassy?
I do understand the frustration with the "system" and can offer this;  When the embassy in the Philippines tried to send my wife for a third physical and returned her passport when the second physical was  at the embassy,  but apparently  they were to lazy to look for it.  I called the embassy and was told she needed to make an appointment  with St. Lukes.  When I told them they had her completed physical and they should process her visa they pretty much called me a liar.  I immediately contacted my State Senator, Senator Ted Cruz, and his office went to work.  The embassy called my wife and told her to return the passport and three day after that she got her visa.  You can read here that involving your Senator is a waste of time, well it worked for me.  As a side note St. Lukes required my wife to go through the sputum protocol two times which resulted in an almost one year delay, caught up in covid, in getting the visa.  When she arrived in the U.S. she had to be tested by the State Health Department, she had negative results, no evidence of TB.  We went to a private pulmonologist doctor and he did testing and x-rays. He stated in his report that there was no evidence of TB.  Frustrated you bet,   If you have a valid complaint let your voice be heard.

Frustration is not the grounds for for filing complaints.  If it were most of us would be filing.
