  1. I know you can call - but I am not completely sure the best process for that and I don't want to give you wrong advice. I would post a thread about it in the main removing conditions discussion and let someone more of an expert than me guide you on how to inquire.
  2. Hi again - so sorry I missed that you wrote you paid with a CC when you first posted. That's really frustrating - and I do think you should have gotten your card charged by now, but I would still probably give the same advice to wait it out a bit longer.
  3. We haven't gotten a text yet! I'm just going by the UPS tracking number. I'll definitely update here when. I get a text. But I feel like if yours arrived at the lockbox 12/5 you should have gotten a text by now. That's really frustrating. I've heard stories of people not getting a text even if they signed up. What form of payment did you use?
  4. Our package is at the lock box as of 12 pm today, woohoo! It's been so long since I updated my timeline that I can't remember. Do I put today's date for our date that we filed? Or wait until we get the text? Or use the date that's on the NOA1?
  5. Hi! If you didn't do the text notification, the only other thing to watch for early on is them taking payment. Did you by chance use a personal check or a credit card to pay? Seeing them pull that money is a good sign. If you used a cashier's check you can't do that either - so the first piece of information you'll get is the letter saying that your greencard has been extended as it processes, which can take several weeks or even a month - and now the holidays are coming. I wouldn't start to worry unless you don't get something until after the first week of January. I bet you'll get the letter by then!
  6. Dropped our package off at UPS this morning! Here we gooooo! Can't wait to get a text and get our check cashed so we can hurry up and wait for the approval. Haha!
  7. Something else just came up for me as well: I wasn't planning to include passport info for either of us or our son but then saw other people including it - but then saw someone say it wasn't actually needed. Now I'm confused! Thoughts anyone? I don't see why it would be helpful beyond showing that we traveled together?
  8. If yours isn't enough, I'm utterly SCREWED! The only thing we have going for us that you don't (and we don't have MANY of the things on your list!) is that we had a baby! Hoping that carries some weight here lol
  9. This is insanely thorough! I think you're going to be just fine!
  10. They did not charge me a fee - they sent the whole thing right back. So I think you're all good!!!
  11. For AOS? Just about one year exactly. I first sent in my application in Mid March 2020, it got rejected twice (once because of that weird 944 form and once, I think, because of the N/A thing), and I sent it the third time in April and it got accepted. My husband got approved for conditional green card in March 2021 - and here we are getting ready for March 2023 when it expires!
  12. What's missing from what? Did you look at my list on the other thread? I'm confused what you are replying to here, haha. But to answer your question: we do live together - but I bought my home before he was in the picture and I don't have a lender/mortgage. We will send our driver's licenses that show shared address, mail to both of us at our address, and utility bills for our address in both of our names. I am pretty sure I got rejected during AOS the first time for not having N/A everywhere so I'm paranoid now and put it on every blank section this time right off the bat!
  13. Thank you Mike! Great news about the photos, its so much easier to add my own text than to print it with the "official" timestamp. What I meant regarding taxes was...do I need additional tax documents for each year other than the tax transcripts? It's only the two years for us since he became an LPR. Do I need to include state documents? Or is the federal transcript for each year enough?
  14. Hi all, I have more specific questions now that I'm in the thick of evidence gathering: -For photos - did you print the photos with the timestamp or did you date them yourself? -Are the IRS Tax Return Transcripts for the past two years sufficient? Or do I need to send more regarding proof of filing taxes jointly? -How many monthly bills/bank statements is typical? 6 months is what I did before - I am seeing conflicting info on this as I read threads? Thanks all!
  15. Question: Are the IRS Tax Return Transcripts for the past two years sufficient? Or do I need to send more regarding proof of filing taxes jointly? Thanks all!
  16. Hi all! I'm going to be a December filer...first day we can send is 12/17 and I hope I can get my act together by then. Form itself was so easy....I worked a lot on evidence today but it's so time consuming! So happy to have a thread group to follow again as we go through this process!
  17. Ok, this is way more than I was planning to send! I am worried now!
  18. Thank you! That is a great way of doing it - I read this last week and started doing it that way (scanning wedding evidence) Also a great reminder about driver's licenses!
  19. Thank you so much for all of this. It was really helpful! I didn't think about my Roth IRA and was able to add him quite easily!
  20. Hi all, We are going to be filing in December. I read the guide but am wondering if someone has a list of evidence that people actually commonly send and in what format? Ex I know affidavits are on the list from USCIS but do people commonly send those because I know for K1 they weren't actually commonly sent. Here's a list of what I'm planning to send and would love feedback about it. -Our son's birth certificate -Evidence from our symbolic marriage with family and friends (receipts, invites, program, photos) - not show how I'll package/format all of this -Joint Tax Returns from the past 2 years -Insurance Policies that we are both on -Documentation of trips we've taken the past 2 years -Photos from the past 2 years -Cards/Mail we have received addressed to both of us as well as our Christmas cards the past 2 years -Bills from the past couple of months in both of our name -Affidavits from 2 people? (We cannot send in lease/mortgage info as I already owned my home prior to him coming and we have not bought a vehicle together)
