  1. My N-400 Interview has been scheduled for 6/26/2023, notice date 5/14. Local field office is Houston, filed 3/21. I also have a pending I-751 so will be preparing for combo interview and will take the spouse along with me.
  2. Hey VJers, Jan 2022 filer here. Had a couple of updates to my journey this week: Finally received a biometrics appointment request (3/31) for the I751 after filing two service requests. Filed N-400 under 3 year rule (NOA1 3/21). Local office is Houston, TX.
  3. I was not an LPR during 2019. I was not considered a resident alien at any time during 2019. My spouse filed 2019 taxes MFS with myself considered as nonresident for tax purposes.
  4. Hey fellow VJers, I (CR1 via I-130) am planning to file my N-400 under the 3-year rule. At this time I have now filed (MFJ) and received three tax transcripts (2020, 2021, 2022). Would these tax transcripts for the years I filed be sufficient to be able file my N-400 application or, given it is still tax filing season would I be expected to provide evidence of filing in 2019? I did not file in 2019 as I was living abroad prior to moving to the US. If my tax transcripts are sufficient, I’d love to file the N-400 just after hitting my 3 years in the US, but of course willing to wait a little longer to get the timing right! For reference, here are my key dates since arriving in the US: Entry: 3/20/2020 Filed I-751: 1/6/2022 I-751 NOA1: 1/12/2022 Trip abroad to U.K.: 2/15/2023-2/26/2023 TYIA, this forum has been a wealth of information and reassurance throughout my journey!
