Hi everyone!
I have pending I-751 and N-400 cases. My extension letter expires in about 7 weeks.
I called USCIS yesterday to see if I could get a stamp on my passport to prove my legal status for an upcoming internship.
They gave me an appointment for this Friday, but said they were likely to issue me a travel document since my passport is expiring in 2 months.
My question is: Does a travel document, issued by USCIS, serve as proof of legal status?
If not, what should I do?
Is there anything I should do or ask them during my appointment?
FO is San Francisco.
I would really appreciate your inputs!
