  1. My sister-in-law obtained her US passport through the U.S. embassy back home. The embassy did not give her a CRBA because she was over the age. She was able to get her US passport since her dad served in the Army. Now, she wants to petition for her husband. How can she obtain proof of her citizenship, besides her passport? I’d appreciate all your input!
  2. Hi everyone! I have pending I-751 and N-400 cases. My extension letter expires in about 7 weeks. I called USCIS yesterday to see if I could get a stamp on my passport to prove my legal status for an upcoming internship. They gave me an appointment for this Friday, but said they were likely to issue me a travel document since my passport is expiring in 2 months. My question is: Does a travel document, issued by USCIS, serve as proof of legal status? If not, what should I do? Is there anything I should do or ask them during my appointment? FO is San Francisco. I would really appreciate your inputs!
  3. It worked. Thank you! All cases in my batch have been approved and issued Naturalization Cert, except for mine and one more. That feels somewhat depressing!
  4. How do I do that? I have the app, but it says “Invalid Start Receipt Number” every time I enter my case number!
  5. Hi everyone, I applied for my citizenship in May 2022. on June 16, I had my biometrics appointment. Since then, my application has been under “Actively being reviewed by USCIS”. I have seen a lot of people, who applied in my field after me, get their interview dates and pass the interview. A relative of mine applied 2 months after I did, and they have their citizenship now. Is this normal? my field office is San Francisco! I appreciate all your comments and insights!
