  1. 444 days - not even a biometrics waived or appointment notice. LOL We also learned that Potomac (our service center) is physically moving. So, unless we file for N400, I will see you all in neverland.
  2. Hi! Welcome! Can you please fill out your timeline? Is this for which kind of visa? We are going to need some details. From your original post, it sounds like you did submit everything correctly. Just to confirm, the certified official digital copy is the one from the Registro de las Personas of your province? Also, it is the Acta de Nacimiento documment, correct? It should come with two pages, which sound like what you mentioned of the government official's signature with the coding. For the apostille, which apostille do you have? The translation should not be an issue. Just trying to figure out what is missing.
  3. I didn't say the N400 would delay it. I was saying that the 751 would delay the N400. Honestly, it is a 50/50 chance - as usual. I do not state my point of view as absolute truth. My only concern is that during a move, my case could NOT be as readily available as it was before. Thus, to get the physical case transferred over to my local office (because it is pending at the time I file N400), is probably going to take longer than what is normally taking for others when they submit the N400 with a pending 751. A N400 case will not get approved with a pending 751. Thus, if they can't find the file, the case will linger until they do.
  4. It was a typo. I meant to say 2026. As it is unlikely that Potomac will get better at processing. If it is 33-35 months now, it will only take longer during and after the move. Just being sarcastic.😅😂
  5. That was an automatic e-mail. I am subscribed to their newsletter. It is also posted on their website somewhere.
  6. It is ridiculous. To me, a case like yours should have been approved by now, especially with a move coming. We are definitely not going to file N400 now. We have several reasons not to do it, but this one just adds one more. I don't know where our physical file will end up and rushing to do N400 might still get both stuck if they can't even find the 751. LOL It looks like we will be pursuing ADIT stamp in 2024. 🤣
  7. I wish they would have stopped receiving cases earlier in 2023 if they knew they were moving AND transferred some of the cases onto other centers while working on the cases that were there as much as they could before moving. But, no, they do not have enough IQ to be efficient and effective. Sadly, this means that N400 is literally the only option now to see any movement. However, now I am concerned that if we do file for N400 at some point (we are still not going to do it now), the 751 gets lost during the move and, thus, it just delays everything again. So, it is a loss-loss situation. LOL
  8. New update: So, even less hope to get approved any time soon. Also, there are probably going to be cases that will be lost. Hooray!
  9. Sadly, it will happen more and more, which is why I was complaining before. LOL Don't get me wrong, I am happy for those that are approved and I would love to be approved soon. But, I don't think it is fair that they are using the LIFO approach. I get approving cases for other circumstances such as the military, etc. But, I know that not all those approvals are special cases, they are in fact the LIFO approach. I don't think it will happen, but I am intrigued to see if we get approved sooner rather than later (we are a September 2022 filer so closer to the recent December 2022 and January 2023 approvals). Mainly, just to prove that they are applying this approach. Of course, more than anything, I hope those before us get approved sooner and before us because it is the FAIR thing to do.
  10. Yeah, it is sad. Again, that's why I said I don't think it is fair that some 2023 are getting approved faster than those waiting since 2020 and 2021. While there are some that are military orders, they have also publicly announced the LIFO approach - which is the thing that gets to me. But, it is not like USCIS will listen to me whine. LOL
  11. I never changed my name - no issues at all. My husband and I are in the ROC stage and that has never been a red flag. USCIS understands that people have personal preferences to keeping their last names.
  12. Everything could be true at the same time. Either way, I don't check anymore. LOL I checked today because of the post. 🤣 Already over this BS.
  13. It is literally the process they are using (LIFO). So, it is a fact (more than hope) that you will be approved before us (September 2022) and older cases. To give you some perspective, there have only been 10 cases approved out of my block versus your 38. LOL
  14. Don't get me wrong. I would too. But, just like I think it is not fair that summer 2023 got approved before us (September 2022). While I would be happy about my approval, I would know it is not fair to get approved prior to those before me (like 2020 and 2021 filers). Yeah, I figured. We just have to keep each other posted.
  15. Sadly, if they are working backwards because of LIFO, we could see this happening more and more where some cases from late 2022 could start getting approvals prior to the old ones from 2020 and 2021, which sucks.
  16. I hope you get yours any minute. You are close enough to their ridiculous processing times. LOL
  17. I have a friend that is a lawyer with Morgan & Morgan and the "go to" for immigration is the following: The Ram Law Firm, P.A. (407) 270-9554 NOTE: I am not selling services nor am I trying to go against ToS. Just making a recommendation based on a personal reference.
  18. The "secret" is that back in Spring-Summer '23, USCIS adopted a LIFO (last-in-first-out) approach. So, you and others that submitted on or after that are getting quicker approvals and those of us that submitted it earlier.
  19. Since your SO has not arrived yet, when they arrive, it would still be prudent to get an SSN - rather than waiting to get it via AOS - even if you don't absolutely need it for the marriage license. Having an SSN allows you to get joint accounts and other things that might drag if you wait for EAD/AP/GC. Just FYI.
  20. It appears you both need to have an SSN: https://www.mo.gov/home-family/marriage-divorce/
