  1. Do you know if you can get a letter from the GP that is somewhat in the middle (between too little information and too much information)? The GP can write a letter (if it is sealed without you looking at it, even better) where they state your medications, what you were treated for in a summarized way to give them an idea of what it was but not all those personal details (ideally more from a medical/clinical perspective and not the personal details of WHAT what discussed), AND (I would say this is important) your current status - whether or not he/she believes that you are a threat to yourself and others. Now, do keep in mind that it will also be based on what the GP is comfortable writing and doing - since they probably do not want to risk their license. Additionally, you do not want to seem like you misrepresented something in your documentation. Lastly, I understand that some of it might be too personal, but that is part of immigration. We all feel a bit more "naked" than we want, but it is part of the process and being honest. I was trying to find the post I had where my husband had to go through this in Argentina, but I was not successful in finding it. Please fill out your timeline so we can better assist you.
  2. Could you please clarify a few things?: What was your original visa? (CR1, K1, F1, etc.) Are you doing Removal of Conditions (751) based on a marriage to a USC? It sounds like you are, but just wanting to confirm the details. Please fill out your timeline so we can assist you better going forward. If your GC is expiring in June 2023, and it was a conditional GC that was only valid for two years because you married a US citizen, then your window to apply will open 90 days PRIOR to the expiration date on your GC and you will need to follow this page: https://www.uscis.gov/green-card/after-we-grant-your-green-card/conditional-permanent-residence/removing-conditions-on-permanent-residence-based-on-marriage
  3. This doesn't apply to most of us. But, if anyone is near that 3 year mark or something like that, this post might be helpful: Maybe it is worth the shot if any of you are not wanting to file for citizenship yet but are near three years or above it. I know there are different thoughts and opinions on the whole filing for N400 to shake the I751 lose. But, I also know there are people that are not wanting to go that route or have a different personal preference, so this would be another way of getting some answer if you are around 3+ years, especially those of us at Potomac.
  4. YAY! Welcome to the wait! We are doing well, still waiting. We ended up in Potomac, so we are in for the long haul. We haven't even heard on biometrics and 03/21 marks 6 months of our submission.
  5. It is the way the checkpoint (AKA 751) is handled that is the pain. It is the lack of efficiency, which is USCIS’ motto.
  6. I would reach out to USCIS. It could have been an error on their end. But, you definitely want all of them to tie.
  7. I wish I could tell you, but I have learned to not try to find a logic to USCIS, as there is none. People try to find patterns and such, but honestly, it never is 💯. Hahah
  8. You might be closer to hearing something than the rest of us, especially since you had to reach out about the stamp. Keep us posted!
  9. It does not say “suspend”, it says “suspense”. Essentially, a decision has not been made, and it is up in the air, which is normal. Obviously, you need to do biometrics before it will continue for review. Since you are in Potomac, it will take a while even after that.
  10. We got a response on the third one, which was the canned response. LOL We might wait a month before submitting another one. Maybe they issue the appointment in the next few weeks as our case approaches the 6 months (for biometrics).
  11. I hope this means the rest of us can get something on biometrics. Try reaching out to them to see where they sent it via phone call or chat Infopass.
  12. Yes, we check ours via the app and that does show a status of received. I think is the website that just comes and goes.
  13. I am aware it is not the same. I was simply stating the fact that Potomac fails to follow the patterns or loopholes others have found that has worked for them. Also, the post was stating the why of our personal preference not a “truth for all”.
  14. Got a response on the 01/22/2023 inquiry I made. As expected with Potomac, it did not yield a biometrics appointment like it has done for others when they submit an inquiry with other service centers. Just a generic response on “you are in line to be reviewed” and “no appointment issued yet”. Thus, this is why we don’t want to apply for N400 because we are very confident it won’t “shake” the 751 loose like it does at other service centers.

  16. That is bullocks. My suggestion would be to call Infopass and speak to a tier 2.
  17. Did you submit an inquiry? Yours seems to be outside of processing time, even for slow death Potomac.
  18. The 48-month will be issued to anyone currently waiting on 751 that filed prior to January 23, 2023. Both scenarios can be possible.
  19. Join the fun! I have an ongoing bet with myself that either I will see two presidents or have multiple children prior to hearing anything from Potomac on I751. LOL
