  1. I applied today with the same timeline. No pending 1-751 though.
  2. I have my children added. There’s just no mention of if they need to become a citizen too or their status. That’s what I mean!
  3. I will be getting the certificate! I just wanted to make sure not mentioning her in my application was ok. Thanks everyone!
  4. Is anyone filing with a child who came with them? I have a K2 and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right!
  5. Hi! Quick question. I will soon be submitting my citizenship application. My seven year old who came with me as a K1 and is now PR will become a citizen when I do, that I know. But there’s nowhere online to mention her in my application so that they know she’s becoming a citizen? In my previous applications, there was a spot like that. Am I missing something? I don’t want to leave her out and make a mistake. Thanks!
  6. Ok can do! We didn’t even have an interview for AOC or ROC, and so I think our applicants were pretty strong.
  7. I haven’t filed yet but I will be soon. I’ve been hearing so many mixed opinions. Some say it’s easy and you don’t need a lot when you file and some say you need all of the relationship stuff like AOS and ROC. Which is it? What did you guys submit?
  8. Yeah, I figure. I will just study for a couple weeks, remember it for the test, and be done! A little scary but people do it every single day!
  9. Yeah, I am planning on applying this month. I feel a bit burnt out as I put a lot of effort into my previous applications, and I have no actual desire to consider myself American. But, I have an American husband, and two American children. So, it makes sense to naturalize, alongside their Australian sibling! That interview I am nervous about as I am no good at dates, and there's a lot of that in those questions to remember.
  10. Hello! I had my AOS and ROC applications both approved without an interview. Is this the norm, or am I lucky? Or should I be expecting something to change in the future? I saw another post about an interview post approval. I have no problem having one, but I was glad not to. I did front load both applications with A LOT of information. I was expecting a ROC interview due to having it waived when approved for AOS. Thanks!
  11. Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say that mine and my daughters ROC was approved on August 7th, and we received the letter today. No interview necessary, and I didn't have an interview for AOS either! I feel super lucky. I worked so hard on those applications lol.
  12. We got the letters today saying our biometrics are being reused!
  13. I included that and I also included a letter from my OBGYN stating I am currently pregnant with a scan. I know the second item doesn't hold much weight as it doesn't have my husbands name on it but I love to supply as much as I can!
  14. Same. We had the initial at the embassy in my home country and nothing since. We are K1 and K2. I think our AOS petition was solid. Now I am currently pregnant with our second child which I think is proof enough lol.
  15. I am hoping we don't have an interview either.. But our green card interview was waived and apparently they like to do at least one.
  16. Mine was received on Tuesday and I haven't heard anything yet.
  17. My husband sent our package tonight. So we just made it as a December filer.. even though it won't be received in December. I am still counting it lol. I am a bit stressed though. He is sick and I said let's just go tomorrow but nope he went and he told me they put our paperwork in a box. It is clipped and has a band but I don't know if it is stable enough for a box and I am stressed it is going to go everywhere and they won't accept it.
  18. I am sending mine out Wednesday. Super late but still making December. I just want to check two obvious things but I am a worrier. $765 for the fee correct? The filing fee plus the biometrics for myself and five year old? I am in South Dakota and sending UPS. Should I send it here? USCIS Attn: I-751 (Box 21200) 1820 E. Skyharbor Circle S Suite 100 Phoenix, AZ 85034-4850
  19. Looks like I am gonna be one of the last to send. Oh well. We just need one more thing then to go over the packet and send it. Also, is there a ROC date calculator that actually works?
