  1. I had my citizenship test yesterday. Through security, waiting, and the test itself in less than 30 minutes. The person interviewing me was so nice and we mostly just talked about Australia lol. Only thing she asked to see was my green card and photo ID. None of my documents.
  2. How did the interview go? Mine is in a couple of days.
  3. My interview is based on marriage. What is everyone else bringing to theirs?
  4. Hello! My interview is coming up for citizenship and I’m quite nervous. This will be my first interview since my initial K1 interview as my AOS interview was waived, and I never had one for ROC. So, I’m quite nervous and unsure what to expect. I’m an over preparer and I was just wondering what documents everyone brought with them? Thank you!
  5. I do have the app too! But I want a list for my husband to run through with me.
  6. Yep! My whole process has been pretty fast I have to say. Can anyone confirm if this is the current and correct list of questions? https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/questions-and-answers/100q.pdf
  7. I filed November 22nd and just got notice my interview is January 16. Time to study.
  8. So fast! Congratulations! I hope to be similar.. But I am also nervous as I know nothing regarding civic questions lol.
  9. I applied today with the same timeline. No pending 1-751 though.
  10. I have my children added. There’s just no mention of if they need to become a citizen too or their status. That’s what I mean!
  11. I will be getting the certificate! I just wanted to make sure not mentioning her in my application was ok. Thanks everyone!
  12. Is anyone filing with a child who came with them? I have a K2 and I want to make sure I’m doing everything right!
  13. Hi! Quick question. I will soon be submitting my citizenship application. My seven year old who came with me as a K1 and is now PR will become a citizen when I do, that I know. But there’s nowhere online to mention her in my application so that they know she’s becoming a citizen? In my previous applications, there was a spot like that. Am I missing something? I don’t want to leave her out and make a mistake. Thanks!
  14. Ok can do! We didn’t even have an interview for AOC or ROC, and so I think our applicants were pretty strong.
  15. I haven’t filed yet but I will be soon. I’ve been hearing so many mixed opinions. Some say it’s easy and you don’t need a lot when you file and some say you need all of the relationship stuff like AOS and ROC. Which is it? What did you guys submit?
  16. We applied right at the end of December in 2022.
  17. Yeah, I figure. I will just study for a couple weeks, remember it for the test, and be done! A little scary but people do it every single day!
  18. Yeah, I am planning on applying this month. I feel a bit burnt out as I put a lot of effort into my previous applications, and I have no actual desire to consider myself American. But, I have an American husband, and two American children. So, it makes sense to naturalize, alongside their Australian sibling! That interview I am nervous about as I am no good at dates, and there's a lot of that in those questions to remember.
  19. Hello! I had my AOS and ROC applications both approved without an interview. Is this the norm, or am I lucky? Or should I be expecting something to change in the future? I saw another post about an interview post approval. I have no problem having one, but I was glad not to. I did front load both applications with A LOT of information. I was expecting a ROC interview due to having it waived when approved for AOS. Thanks!
  20. Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and say that mine and my daughters ROC was approved on August 7th, and we received the letter today. No interview necessary, and I didn't have an interview for AOS either! I feel super lucky. I worked so hard on those applications lol.
