  1. Do you mean the timelines here on VisaJourney? Yes, I went through the process, but 3,5 years ago and I am not from Mexico. The best advice that I can give you is to just take it as it comes. Other people’s timelines are not a prediction for your case’s timeline, even for the same country, because everybody’s case is different. Don’t try to make plans because immigration has its own timelines.
  2. Which processing center is your case at? The newly added “estimated processing time” feature has been known to be unreliable and should be taken with a grain of salt. I’ve seen many posts from people who reported the same thing that happened to you, it counts down and then changes to “longer than expected”
  3. Processing times for K1’s are around 15,5 months at the moment. https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/
  4. Mine took 120 days to arrive, I also paid the fees before I moved. Expect it to take up to 90 days.
  5. If his circumstances (lack of ties to his home country) haven’t changed, expect the same result when trying again. He needs to be honest and there is nothing that you can do to increase his chances.
  6. I would say get married as soon as possible after your fiance arrives. The sooner you marry, the sooner you can file for AOS.
  7. I visited my husband multiple times on my Esta without any issues. DO NOT apply for a visitor visa if you are eligible for an Esta. The reason I was able to successfully visit multiple times while my CR1 was pending, was because I had strong ties (stable job, house) to my home country and couldn’t have long visits because of those ties. If you apply for a B visa because you want to visit longer, you show that you don’t have strong ties, and together with your immigrant intent, you’ll probably face a denial of your B visa. Keep your ties strong, your visits short and DO NOT apply for a B visa.
  8. I successfully applied for a new Esta while I had an I-130 pending.
  9. Your I-90 receipt you mean? You have no use for it because you shouldn’t have filed for the I-90 in the first place.
  10. I filed without a lawyer, it is not complicated but you have to read the instructions carefully and check everything before you send it out, so you don’t have more delays
  11. Yes, because you filed the wrong form. You have no use for the I-90. You need to file the I-751 yesterday!
  12. You’ll receive the receipt notice and in this receipt notice you’ll see a 24 month extension (from the expiration date of your conditional greencard).
  13. The I-751 takes a very long time too (I am already 17 months in). So file asap!
  14. You need to file the I-751 and explain why you filed late, I assume your conditional green card already expired?
  15. Same seems to be happening with AOS (I don’t have the stats to back it up), but I feel like more and more people try to get into the US and adjust status due to the long processing times for K1’s and CR1’s, and then of course complain about not being able to work and travel. These people also ask for reasons for an expedite now. Or maybe I hang out on Reddit too much 😅
  16. Trust me, we kind of figured this already.. This site is not the place to ask how to fabricate your way through an expedite. And just to add, it is an insult for people who have a genuine reason to expedite (and get denied because everybody and their uncle are now requesting expedites).
  17. I didn’t use anything, they just received a stack of papers from me 😅 Don’t use staples, but you can use paperclips
  18. These are examples of proof that you can submit, it is not a requirement to send them all. As mentioned before, I had no evidence of financial co-mingling etc. but plenty of proof of time spent together, my CR1 was approved without any issues.
  19. My husband and I had no joint bank account (we still don’t 😅), children together, or any of that type of evidence, which makes sense because we were living on seperate continents, and we had no issues. We did the CR1. USCIS understands that couples who don’t live together yet don’t have that type of proof. Focus on the evidence of time spent together.
  20. Yes, I ask a lot of questions because I have been on this forum for a while and over the years have seen certain patterns..
  21. Yes, love can happen quickly but there seems to be something off about your situation.. I assume you were in the US on a non-immigrant visa? What is the reason that you never lived together?
  22. A legal marriage is not the same as a bonafide marriage..
  23. Was this “marriage” set up so you could move to the US? How did your spouse not know if you had potential before you got married? How long did you know this person before you got married?
