  1. There are 3x3 sexes arranged in a matrix: morning/afternoon/evening x epic/average/oh well.
  2. In such case a time frame should be defined: you cannot change pronouns unless 50 years have passed since your last change. In general, it shouldn't be a matter of whim. BTW, years ago I had a dream I could choose every morning when I woke up, if I wanted to be a man or woman. In the process, my whole appearance would change automatically depending on my choice. And that was way before it was mainstream, because I'm streets ahead.
  3. Certainly the dream of becoming rich through it is a factor, but I think it is more about being desperate for attention and validation, even if it comes from perfect strangers. For instance, I know a woman in her 40's, married, from Denmark who has tried to be an influencer for years, posts the most ridiculous content and has nine different accounts to like and comment her own posts. It is pathetic and painful to witness. There is a serious identity crisis -that has spread worldwide and among people of all ages- and I think the whole phenomenon encompasses what I'm talking about and what you mentioned in your initial post. I'd like to finish my post with a paragraph from "Doctor Glas" by Hjalmar Söderberg that I have always found so telling of human nature: "We want to be loved; failing that, admired; failing that, feared, failing that, hated and despised. At all costs we want to stir up some sort of feeling in others."
  4. Not at all. Just birth certificate for mother; same for father plus marriage certificate and divorce certificate if there is a previous marriage.
  5. From my understanding what you need for entry and exit is the e-ticket. https://eticket.migracion.gob.do/Auth/TravelRegister
  6. You're right. Didn't pay attention to the exact expiration date. And honestly I'm not even paying attention to which date I'm in. 😅
  7. The ones that check the documents are the airline employees at the check in counters.
  8. More concerning is that youngsters worldwide -and even adults- get life advice from tik tok and instagram and only dream of becoming a youtuber/tiktoker. At some point there will no longer be any doctors or engineers, just "influencers".
  9. Just noticed my cheapo reading glasses -1.75 plus tax at Daiso- have a scratch. I'm definitely NOT happy about it.
  10. You have lived together all this time, including the places where you have traveled. It might get confusing when it comes to residence which for immigration purposes means: "The person's principal actual dwelling place in fact, without regard to intent. A person is not required to live in a particular place for a specific period of time in order for that place to be considered his or her “residence.” However, the longer a stay in a particular place, the more likely it is that a person can establish that place is his or her residence." I would list addresses of places where you've stayed 3 months or more and/or places where you have signed a lease for. And regarding evidence in a language other that English, it must always include a certified translation.
  11. In my view, gender/sex/sexual orientation became extremely complex matters and people are either rejecting or embracing without proper IN DEPTH discussion. It attracts so much attention and passionate reactions that I'd dare to say it has become the number one topic for politicians to use for their own obscure intentions, for scholars to exploit and for people in general to hold as a symbol of where they stand and who they are.
  12. You must be a legal resident of the country where you intend to be interviewed.
  13. Funny. I never thought people had travel in mind when applying for citizenship. I assumed it was mostly to petition relatives.
  14. You need to go through court. Just search for the specific process in your state.
  15. So you think the algorithm equates frisky furries to bad AI generated women? Bad algorithm! And of course you can ask and I'll gladly answer: found out it existed years ago on an early episode of CSI and today I searched on it for my post and found out it is mainly nerd looking guys that are into it. Truth is that I find really odd that I got that kind of ad, as it has always been just about all sorts of immigration, visas and lawyers. I thought there was some kind of filter on the site to deter those malware carrying ads?
  16. Agreed that it depends on the agent that reviews the case. Hope you're one of the lucky ones that won't get one. Could be that nowadays it is a policy not to send RFE's for such mistakes? Therefore the lack of reports on the matter. Regarding you being a professional over thinker: do you get paid? If so, I want that job, have great qualifications. 🤣
  17. This is the first time I get an ad advertising a woman in her late 40's from Ukraine -that btw looks more like a bad AI job-. The algorithm must be wrong, as all I search is detergent, charities I can donate to and people in mascot costumes getting kinky.
  18. Thanks again! It totally makes sense it being linked to elections. We got the 48 month letter and I'm so cheap that I'd be fine with extensions for life -rather than renewing the card every 10 years-. 😅
  19. You can file an e request here: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do And the GC should be extended until 2025.
